Get Kelis's Pretty-in-Pink Makeup Look

If you're stuck in a makeup rut, look to Kelis to bring you back around.

If you're stuck in a makeup rut, look to Kelis to bring you back around. Yesterday at Matthew Williamson's Macy's launch in New York, Kelis sported a seriously fun and edgy makeup look, featuring bright pink eye shadow with coordinating, highly pigmented lip gloss and lots of ebony liner on the lower lash lines. A black bowler hat gave it a certain Molly Ringwald à la Pretty in Pink kind of feel. Tip: if you can't find a pink shadow, use a bright, rosy blush instead. And if you're feeling truly daring, add a multiple-layered gold necklace, chunky dangling earrings, and even a nose ring. Check out the widget below for inspiration:

Kelis went a little Gaga (as in Lady) last night at the Data Awards, with gold conical spikes, gilt false lower eyelashes, sparkling silver shadow on the lids, and some major facial chains.

Kelis went a little Gaga (as in Lady) last night at the Data Awards, with gold conical spikes, gilt false lower eyelashes, sparkling silver shadow on the lids, and some major facial chains. This outfit might be more in the realm of performance art than red carpet getup, but do you think she went all futuristic the right way, or was this a big mistake?

Musicians Make Merry After the Grammys

It may have been a looong Grammy Awards, but it was only more reason to keep the party going after the show ended.

It may have been a looong Grammy Awards, but it was only more reason to keep the party going after the show ended. The stars got to mix and mingle with their fellow musicians at the Sony BMG Party, making for some predictable (and a few unlikely) pairings. Nicole and Joel were looking a little worn out, while Beyonce was practically glowing in yellow next to John Mayer, making her fourth outfit change of the night. Which B outfit was your favorite? Also, is it just us, or did John look a little too pretty-boy last night? Carrie Underwood naturally gravitated toward country star Brad Paisley, while Jay-Z looked absolutely thrilled to be posing with Chris Daughtry. We just wish we could eavesdrop on a few of their conversations, although something tell us that Amy Winehouse's performance was a hot topic across the board.

Mariah's Little White New Year's Eve

Mariah Carey went with a pretty standard skin tight LWD to take on hosting duties for TAO's New Year's Eve Party in Las Vegas. She had no problem posing with what looks like a delicious cake, but something tells us that Mariah skipped out on dessert. When asked about her New Year's resolutions, she said, "I should have them, but I've already done them," referring to her dieting habits in 2007. We have to agree that she looks pretty fab, which can only help in promoting her new album next year.
