Benji Madden may have made headlines for bashing a reality TV winner, but let's be honest - Kelly Clarkson is a huge ass star. She beat out Gwen and Lohan at the VMAs. She has sold over 3 million copies of her latest Breakaway album which includes 3 #1 songs.

Yes, I will admit I love some of Kelly's songs. Since U Been Gone is fabulous you can't get it out of your head. Clarkson talks to MTV about the inspiration for her new video, Because of You which is about her parents' divorce. We see a more grown up Kelly playing a wife in the video so check it out here. I look forward to seeing her career evolve and seeing if she has lasting power. She is by far the best Idol winner so far.
