Movie Preview: Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page Fight Bad Guys in Super

The Office's Rainn Wilson is leaving his desk job to take on a masked alter ego in Super.

The Office's Rainn Wilson is leaving his desk job to take on a masked alter ego in Super. Wilson stars as Frank, a married man whose wife (Liv Tyler) leaves him for a drug dealer (Kevin Bacon). Upset over the split, Frank decides to win her back by taking on the persona of Crimson Bolt, a violent hero who wields a wrench as his weapon. To help him in his endeavors, a girl from a comic book store (Ellen Page) offers herself up to be his sidekick, Boltie.

Sound familiar? It should, because by all appearances, Super plays out like a ripoff of Kick-Ass. It's impossible not to see the similarities between the films' concepts or how Boltie resembles Hit Girl. That said, Super looks more quirky-indie and, unfortunately, not as good. My other complaint: could we please see more Nathan Fillion? The actor only pops up once in the trailer. Take a look, and share your assessment after the jump.

Will Kevin Bacon Get You to Buy a Google TV?

This year, the popularity of Internet-connected TVs hit an all-time high.

This year, the popularity of Internet-connected TVs hit an all-time high. And while there are plenty of ways to get the content on your set, I had some pretty high hopes for Google TV when the company first announced its functionality. You can get Google TV built in to a new Sony flatscreen, or you can use the TV you already have and spring for a set-top box, which allows you to search your cable, network websites, YouTube, and the world wide web for video content all in one place. However, something has gone awry, and networks left and right are blocking Google TV from accessing their online content. Of course, Google TV can come in handy if you just want to get online and access to Google TV's other features, like Netflix.

But a new (and totally charming) ad for the Logitech Revue makes Google TV seem appealing to the average Joe. Watch "Kevin Bacon's biggest fan" explain why Google TV is so awesome (then tell me if you're buying in) after the break.

Jimmy Fallon sang and danced as host of the Emmys in LA last night, and the fun kept coming for him and his wife, Nancy Juvonen, as they moved on to the Governor's Ball with other winners, nominees, and presenters. Mad Men's Jon Hamm raised a glass to his show nabbing its third consecutive best outstanding drama series award — do you agree with its win? New mom Amy Poehler stuck close to Tina Fey, while Kevin Bacon couldn't take his eyes off his lovely wife and best actress in a drama honoree, Kyra Sedgwick. Lost's Michael Emerson chatted with costars Daniel Dae Kim and Henry Ian Cusick, as The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev chatted with best supporting actor in a drama Aaron Paul. He totally won Buzz over with his cute press room excitement right after hitting the stage.

January Jones, meanwhile, cuddled up to her special date, Jason Sudeikis, in her show-stopping Versace gown along with Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston. The Glee kids, like Mark Salling, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, and Chris Colfer, celebrated Ryan Murphy and Jane Lynch's wins all together. We've got you covered for TV's biggest night — make sure to check out shots from the red carpet, exciting behind-the-scenes press room photos, and Buzz has the entire list of winners here!

The Stars of HBO Throw Their Weight Behind How to Make It in America

The gang from How to Make It in America got together in NYC last to celebrate their upcoming series premiere, which airs on HBO Sunday on Valentine's Day.

The gang from How to Make It in America got together in NYC last to celebrate their upcoming series premiere, which airs on HBO Sunday on Valentine's Day. Stars Lake Bell, Bryan Greenberg and Victor Rasuk were joined by Eddie Kaye Thomas and Scott Mescudi, aka Kid Cudi, on the red carpet. We were able to recently chat with Bryan and Victor about their new Mark Wahlberg produced show — make sure to tune into PopSugar Rush Friday to see our exclusive interview! Lake was thrilled to meet other members of the HBO family, including Entourage's Adrian Grenier and Big Love's Chloe Sevigny.

Josh Lucas joined the cast at the after-party in the Bowery Hotel, which also brought out Kristen Dunst. Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr had the evening off from Gossip Girl and were caught on their way home, as was Avatar's Zoe Saldana and her boyfriend Keith Britton. The How to Make It in America stars still have lots of press to do before their first episode airs this weekend, but the blizzard currently taking over the Big Apple unfortunately got in Bryan's way forcing him to reschedule a date with Jimmy Kimmel in LA.

Katie Has a Snowy Mission and Tom a Fourth Impossible One

Katie Holmes stepped out in snowy Manhattan last night for dinner with friends at Pastis before the opening of the first Hermes Men's Store on Madison Avenue.

Katie Holmes stepped out in snowy Manhattan last night for dinner with friends at Pastis before the opening of the first Hermes Men's Store on Madison Avenue. She was without the main male in her life who could actually use something inside one of the famous orange boxes, since Tom has some fun news to celebrate — he's signed on for Mission Impossible 4 after he and JJ Abrams came up with what they call a "really cool idea" for the plot. Katie, on the other hand, has some big days of couture clothes ahead of her with NY Fashion Week, starting with an afternoon with Suri and meeting with her Holmes and Yang collaborator.

SAG Winners Bring Their Smiles, Statues to the Press Room

The big winners at Saturday's SAG Awards headed into the press room after picking up their statues.

The big winners at Saturday's SAG Awards headed into the press room after picking up their statues. Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey were both recognized for their work in 30 Rock, while Christina Hendricks and the cast of Mad Men spoke to the press without Jon Hamm, who was onstage presenting. Diane Kruger and her Inglourious Basterds boys were so excited after their win for Best Ensemble Cast, telling us they texted Brad Pitt to share the good news. Drew Barrymore was likewise thrilled with her latest honor, after picking up a Golden Globe the week before for Grey Gardens.

Jane Lynch lead the cast of Glee, as her costars Dianna Argon, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, and Jessalyn Gilsig clutched their Actor statues. Crazy Heart's Jeff Bridges sweetly brought his wife onto the press room podium to have her answer questions beside him, crediting her with his success and the raising of their three daughters. Mo'Nique was also thankful to her husband in her remarks following her win for Precious, saying that they get their emotions out during special "bathroom talks." Kevin Bacon had nothing but glowing words for his own wife, Kyra Sedgwick, after a visibly emotional acceptance speech onstage. Sandra Bullock stuck with the theme after already thanking her "hot" husband Jesse James, admitting she'd rather attend events for his work any day over awards shows. There was a whole lot of love coming from the winners — make sure to check out all the night's honorees!

The SAGs Are Full of Glee, Basterds, Betty White and More!

The SAG Awards took over LA's Shine Auditorium Saturday night to honor the year's best acting.

The SAG Awards took over LA's Shine Auditorium Saturday night to honor the year's best acting. Once the posing on the red carpet was finished, the show started right off with the announcement of Alec Baldwin's win in the category of Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series. His costar Tina Fey also took home an Actor statue for her role in 30 Rock, bounding onto the stage with energy despite having had just two hours sleep the evening before. Matt Damon and his wife Luciana watched things for their table, not far from where George Clooney was relaxing after his star-studded Haiti telethon. Further honors went to Dexter's Michael C. Hall, who kept things light by thanking his wife and costar Jennifer Carpenter for choosing to wear her hot white dress. Julianna Margulies was singled out by her peers for her performance on The Good Wife, looking stunning in her Narciso Rodriguez gown. Betty White was the evening's special honoree, as she was presented a Lifetime Achievement award by one of her many admirers, Sandra Bullock.

Glee, meanwhile, was crowned Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Series with Jane Lynch speaking on behalf of the cast — Cory Monteith later joked that she had the honor of talking after winning an arm-wrestling contest. The stars of Mad Men similarly took home Actor statues after being declared the Best Ensemble in a Drama Series. The honorees for miniseries and films were exactly the same as at last weekend's Golden GlobesDrew Barrymore and an emotional Kevin Bacon won. Jeff Bridges picked up an honor for Crazy Heart, as did Christoph Waltz for Inglourious Basterds and Mo'Nique for Precious. Sandra Bullock won again for The Blind Side, thanking her husband Jesse James by saying, "I want you so much!" While Inglourious Basterds broke the trend by getting the Ensemble honors, it will be interesting to see if the consistency in individual awards translates into Oscar nominations when they're announced on February 2.
