Kevin Spacey Will Play Winston Churchill

House of Cards [1]' Kevin Spacey [2], Robin Wright, and Corey Stoll have all scored new roles for the big screen this week, and they're not the only ones. Adam Scott is in negotiations to pair up with Alison Brie [3], while Homeland's Damian Lewis and a Disney star have new parts as well.

Meryl Streep joined Ricky and the Flash [4], an indie dramedy written by Diablo Cody. She'll play a faded rockstar who attempts to reconnect with her estranged children.

House of Cards' Corey Stoll joined Ant-Man [5] along with Paul Rudd [6] and Michael Douglas.

Disney Channel star Bella Thorne joined the new Amityville horror movie [7], costarring Jennifer Jason Leigh as her mother.

Homeland alum Damian Lewis joined Our Kind of Traitor [8], a spy thriller also starring Ewan McGregor [9], Stellan Skarsgard, and Naomie Harris. Lewis will play a member of British Intelligence.

Alison Brie [10] and Adam Scott are in talks to join Sleeping With Other People [11], a comedy in which they'd replace original leads Kirsten Dunst [12] and Jason Sudeikis.

Sam Worthington [13] and Robin Wright joined Everest [14], the tragic true story of an attempt to climb Mount Everest. Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin [15], John Hawkes, Jake Gyllenhaal [16], Martin Henderson, Emily Watson, and Thomas Wright are all also starring.

John Leguizamo joined American Ultra [17], the action-comedy starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart [18]. Leguizamo will play the character of Brad Gage.

Kevin Spacey will play Winston Churchill [19] in Captain of the Gate, a historic drama about Churchill's defense of Britain against Hitler.

Parenthood's Sam Jaeger joined American Sniper [20], alongside Bradley Cooper [21] as a decorated sniper. The film will be directed by Clint Eastwood [22].

Mark Wahlberg will appear in Mojave [23], alongside Garrett Hedlund and Oscar Isaac.

Peter Dinklage may join Adam Sandler [24], Josh Gad, and Kevin James in Pixels, a comedy about '80s video game characters waging war on New York.
