Despite the rain, the 139th Kentucky Derby rolled into Churchill Downs today, bringing with it all the hats, horses, and mint juleps that mark the annual event. Stars got a head start on celebrating last night at parties all over Louisville, and the fun continued today as famous faces and fans watched Orb win the Kentucky Derby in the stands. Lauren Conrad, who flew in on Thursday, brought a neutral look and lavish topper to bet on the horses, while Armie Hammer and his wife were dressed to the nines as well. Krysten Ritter and Jennifer Tilly chose over-the-top hats for their day at the races, and model Coco Rocha met up with Steffi Graf for a special event yesterday. Some of country's biggest names got together to raise money for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum at Keith Urban's annual We're All For the Hall benefit in Nashville last night. It was Keith's fourth time hosting the event, which had performances by Tim McGraw, country legend Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, and Kid Rock. Also on hand were singers Trace Adkins, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, and Vince Gill.

Tim took the stage during a break from his residency with his wife, Faith Hill, in Las Vegas, which wraps up this month. He won't be away from the microphone for long, though, since he's hitting the road for his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour on May 2. Keith is also kicking off a string of dates with his Light the Fuse Tour launching in Ohio this Summer.

The CMT Music Awards lit up Nashville tonight with country's brightest stars coming together to celebrate music. Actress Nicole Kidman escorted her husband, Keith Urban, down the red carpet before taking their seats and chatting with Shania Twain, Justin Bieber, and the members of Sugarland. Fresh off a win at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards Justin added another statue to his trophy case, sharing the collaborative video of the year award with Rascal Flatts for "That Should Be Me." Sheryl Crow strutted onto the stage for a duet with Kid Rock and showed off her legs in a daringly short skirt before giving Kid a big embrace at the end of their performance. A few major names, and winners, were unable to make the show due to scheduling conflicts. Taylor Swift took home the win for video of the year and although she taped the show's opening skit with Shania she had to accept her statue via satellite. The Voice's Blake Shelton missed the show, but he still took home the win for best male video and best web video of the year. First time attendees American Idol winner Scotty McCreery and runner-up Lauren Alaina were welcomed with a roaring applause from the crowd before introducing Sugarland to the stage.

The People's Choice Awards kicked off a very glamorous upcoming two months with a bang last night. It was a beautiful LA evening for all the stars to step off and celebrate the start of award season, the fans, and each other. Queen Latifah was once again the show's hostess, and she got to have fun on stage from start to finish. There were some awesome A-list surprise guests, like Jennifer Aniston, who presented to Just Go With It costar Adam Sandler, and Johnny Depp who gracefully accepted his statue and passed on a hello to Taylor Swift from his daughter. The red carpet was full of short dresses, but one of the night's most sassy minis was Kristen Stewart's Reem Acra. Her makeup and hair were also perfect for the event and made her look bright and happy despite flying straight to the show from a long day of shooting Breaking Dawn in Louisiana. She missed the arrivals line, but showed off her sweet chemistry with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner accepting Eclipse's handful of wins — check out the full list on Buzz. Robert gave us a bit of a laugh to close the show, while all three Twilight stars were game for some light teasing from Latifah during an interlude. Kid Rock and Selena Gomez and the Scene provided the musical performances, while Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were the female acts chosen by their fans. Pregnant Natalie Portman flashed a smile and her new engagement ring after meeting up with her Black Swan costar Mila Kunis backstage. Taylor Swift's edgy arrival dress was your favorite, though she changed into an all-black skinny pants and blazer ensemble for her dramatic "Back to December/Apologize" mashup. The red carpet at the 2010 CMA Awards in Nashville brought together lovely ladies from both the music and acting worlds last night. Cohost Carrie Underwood chose a slate gray Talbot Runhof gown for her arrival while Gwyneth Paltrow went with a sexy, side-baring Atelier Versace dress for her country music debut. Gwyneth's Country Strong costar Leighton Meester mixed things up in Emilio Pucci and Taylor Swift went with a bold red Monique Lhuillier. W cover girl Katherine Heigl, who was there to support her brother-in-law Lady Antebellum lead singer Charles Kelley, showed up in a bright blue strapless Farah Angsana number and was just one of the gorgeous girls with a flawless face.

Carrie opened the show with a musical number alongside Brad Paisley, who was named Entertainer of the Year, before changing into an array of gorgeous looks throughout the night. Nicole Kidman watched from the audience in white Dolce & Gabbana as her husband Keith Urban took the stage while Katherine and Josh Kelley cheered on Lady Antebellum as they accepted two statues. Gwyneth geared up for her big night with a pint of beer, and her much-anticipated live performance didn't disappoint — what did you think? She was game for a little teasing by Carrie and Brad, who asked if she could score them Coldplay tickets, though Chris Martin wasn't there to watch his wife's musical number. Taylor Swift didn't continue her winning streak, but she did take the stage to perform "Back to December" — congrats to everyone honored during country's big evening!

They headed to Europe after wrapping up their honeymoon in the Maldives and ceremony in India. Newlywed Katy was among the many gorgeous ladies on the red carpet who chose pink lipstick, which she paired with a sparkly movie ticket dress. Katy's most noticeable accessory as she posed with her husband was her brand-new diamond covered wedding ring. She played host at the event last year, but yesterday Eva Longoria had a ton of fun taking over the job.

Katy shared the stage with pal Rihanna, who recently admitted to feeling terrible about missing the Brand-Perry wedding due to her responsibilities promoting her upcoming album Loud. Shakira was on the long list of performers, and she showed off her iconic abs in a small top. Taylor Momsen brought along her band The Pretty Reckless, while Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, and Jared Leto's 30 Seconds to Mars added some testosterone to the show — there was also a whole lot of skin on display, including from a leotard-wearing Miley Cyrus. Kid Rock has been occupied over the last couple of days at a trial for his 2007 arrest for brawling at an Atlanta Waffle House. He was in court earlier today testifying as to his account of the evening, and he went into significant detail about how things progressed with his adversary. Kid Rock spoke of how he wasn't satisfied to give the middle finger, so he tried to pull down his pants. He didn't succeed, though, because he couldn't unlatch his custom steer head belt buckle. In his own words, "I couldn't do what I wanted to do and give him the full moon." It's a pretty preposterous situation to start with, but tell us what you think about Kid Rock's account of his partial mooning in court — hilarious or gross?
