Kristen Stewart marks the beginning of the end of Twilight by giving sincere thanks at Teen Choice Awards. Hey there, I'm Karli Bulnes. PopSugar's Michelle Manning was on the red carpet and in the back stage in the press room for the show that honored the Twilight trio and fellow Sci-Fi- stars from the Vampire Diaries.

Kristen Stewart followed boyfriend Robert Pattinson's lead at the Teen Choice Awards in L.A on sunday by handing off her Ultimate Choice trophy to some adoring fans in the audience. PopSugar editor Brittney Stephens is here now to fill us in on how Twilight did at the awards show, which had a strong vampire her presence.

So Twilight has racked up more than 40 awards ever since it became a contender back in 2008 but, how'd they do this year?
Well as you mentioned, Kristen won the Ultimate Choice Award along with Robert and Taylor Lautner. And Breaking Dawn Part One took home the Choice Romance Movie Award. And Kristen was picked as the Choice actress in a romance movie.
Kristen is clearly a fan favorite, but not just for her work in Twilight, right?
Right. So Kristen also won the Choice Summer Movie Star award for her role in Snow White and the Huntsman.
Another big franchise The Hunger Games actually gave Twilight a run for their money.
Yeah.
Winning Best On-screen Kiss and a couple of other categories that typically have gone to the Twilight stars, but wouldn't you say that overall the vampires really dominated this award show?
Yes, Zachary Levi introduced the Twilight cast after this huge montage about the franchise, and then the Vampire Diaries castwon six awards including the Choice Fantasy or Sci-Fi TV Show Award. Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Candace Accola, and Micheal Trevino all were honored individually.
And Ian got an extra special honor, right?
Yeah, so Ian Somerhalder won the Choice Male Hottie award.
And Ian's co-star Kat Graham was back stage where she spoke about the show's win, so let's take a listen to that. And I share this with my cast. I think that our TV show is the best sci-fi TV show in that category, and I'm really proud, and this is definitely a family award, you know, so we share this with each other and our amazing writers and producers, our grips.
Everyone that works behind the scenes do.
She seems pretty sweet and I think that all the stars were just happy to be in the presence of their fans.
For sure, and I think Kristen, Rob and Taylor, theyFresh off seeing their fans at Comic-Con. They've been really busy working this week. Although, we did see Kristen playing golf.
She deserves a break.
Yeah, definitely. But, I think it was just really important for them to be there in person and thank their fans one last time.
