Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw, and we have your peek at new Snow White and the Huntsman footage which features a whole lot more Kristen Stewart in today's PopSugar Rush. While the first trailer for Snow White and the Hunstman focused more on Charlize Theron's evil queen, new footage from the film places the spotlight on the fairest of them all: Kristen Stewart as Snow White. Comcast's Xfinity TV released a new featurette today, which shows Kristen as she runs from beasts, encounters new animals , and meets the dwarfs — while hanging upside down. DWARF: She's pretty. DWARF: Who is she? KRISTEN: My father was King Magnus. DWARF: Does she speak the truth? DWARF: Yes. Even though the movie retains key elements from the original story like the dwarves, clearly, it's a lot more action-packed than how we're used to seeing the fairytale heroine. But Kristen and Charlize both say the story really leant itself to such a retelling. KRISTEN: It never felt like a movie where you were just trying to have a strong girl character be sort of bad-ass. CHARLIZE: It felt authentic. When I read it I thought, why didn't I think of this? It felt like of course, this is the perfect story to put in that setting. KRISTEN: You want to like, join the cause. Kristen and Charlize stopped by The Today Show this morning to promote Snow White and the Huntsman, following an appearance at WonderCon over the weekend, as anticipation builds for the film's release this June. And even though it's months away, you can still get your fill right now with the full 5-minute featurette and brand new trailer. Just head over to xfinitytv.com/snowwhite to check it out.
