Fur details are ideal Fall accents. On anything, they add just a hint of luxury and juxtapose perfectly against utility-style jackets, blazers, or any cozy cover, really. Kylie Minogue's faux fur-lined jacket is a great lesson in the kind of dressing I'm after. The full, fur-lining is just enough interest to play against a solid coat but not enough to distract from cool layers and a Fab pair of boots.
Celeb Style: Kylie Minogue
While shopping in London, Kylie Minogue showed off the cool clothes she already has in her closet. Namely the camo-colored jean leggings from Paige, which she paired with two tees, a wool coat, and distressed booties. Shop the exact jeans with similar complementary pieces now.
Celeb Style: Kylie Minogue
Kylie Minogue stepped out in London looking sassy in a cheeky dress. The designer of that piece is Richard Nicoll, but he's not the only designer she's wearing. In addition, Kylie carried a bag by Yves Saint Laurent which she paired with chain-link pumps and oversize sunglasses. Get the orange nail polish to finish it off.
Who Wore It Better? Gucci Feather LBD
Gucci's feather LBD took the spotlight when it strutted down the catwalk on Chanel Iman in Milan last February. Now, seven months later, she got back into the same dress and tights, only with different shoes, for the Gucci Spring '11 afterparty. But it seems Chanel isn't the only fan of this dress: Kylie Minogue also wore it, sans tights, at a movie premiere in London recently. One super fashionable frock, two gorgeous women — who wore it better?

Do You Have Pocket Doors?
A couple of you weren't keen on the way Kylie Minogue staged her London home, which can be yours for $6.1 million. While some may think the cotton candy pinks and blues are inappropriate for a home on the market, I think all will agree that this home has stunning interior architecture. I am particularly coveting the pocket doors that open up Kylie's dining room to the living room. And I love how she's painted them to match the walls.
My experience is that pocket doors are almost always left open, seeing as they take more care to close than the average door. But they are a great option for open plan living spaces, as well as a smart space-saving feature. Do you have any in your home? (Kylie, if you're reading, you don't need to answer this one.)
Kylie Minogue's Cotton Candy Crib Could Be Yours!
Australian songstress Kylie Minogue is doing the real estate locomotion, with a newly listed four-bedroom, three-bathroom "maisonette" in South Kensington, London, on the market for $6.1 million.
Interior design firm Candy & Candy immaculately refurbished the home four years ago. It features rich walnut checkerboard parquet floors, marble fireplace mantels, a sweeping staircase with a patinated brass balustrade and a black lacquered handrail, bay windows, radiant floor heating, and French doors. The kitchen cabinets has custom-made walnut cabinets, marble countertops, ceramic butler sinks, a La Cornue stove, and luxury appliances. Meanwhile, the bedroom is outfitted with custom walnut closets with endless shoe racks and hanging and shelving units for Minogue's extensive wardrobe.
As for the furnishings and décor, Kylie's home is an urban dreamland, full of feminine touches like luxe velvets, crystal chandeliers, gold floral wallpaper, and pastel hues of baby blue, pale mauve, and cotton candy pink. A mix of Art Deco, Louis XIV, and new contemporary pieces keep the style from appearing too trendy; I'd compare it to a toned-down, more girlish Kelly Wearstler design. Check out the pics and tell me if you'd want to settle down in this London home.

What to Download: New Music This Week
In need of some new Summer jams to crank with the windows rolled down? Look no further — it's Tuesday and I've got you covered on what tunes are worth your spending money.
Love goddess: After more than 20 years in the biz, Kylie Minogue keeps the party going with her latest album Aphrodite. Full of frenetic pop that never slows, it's what Minogue does best, and she knows it, boldly stating, "I am the original" on the title song. Though the tracks make for a nice collection of upbeat, dance-worthy love tunes, as a whole, they're a bit monotonous. That complaint aside, I'm liking "Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel the Love)" and "Get Outta My Way."
On his own: The half of Outkast that's not Andre 3000, Big Boi, hits us with his first solo album today, Sir Luscious Left Foot . . . The Son of Chico Dusty. That title is quite the mouthful, and his song titles are equally entrancing, like "Daddy Fat Sax." Silly name aside, it's a groove worthy of any of Outkast's hits, as is "Shutterbug," which boasts Boi's stellar rap skills. Finally, my favorite is "Be Still," Big Boi's collaboration with Janelle Monae, a soulful marriage of their hip-hop styles.
