Lindsay Lohan braved the flashes on her way out of an appointment in LA yesterday. After a tough beginning of the week including another huge argument with Samantha and getting out of a warrant for LL's arrest, things have been quieter. Michael Lohan has been blathering on as usual, but this time according to InTouch Samantha's friends are telling her to get out too. Lindsay didn't comment on her own week, but she did talk about the heartbreaking death of Natasha Richardson, her on-screen mother in The Parent Trap. Lindsay said, "She was a wonderful woman and actress and treated me like I was her own. I didn't see much of her over the years but I will miss her. My heart goes out to her family. This is a tragic loss."
Most of the reason why I was rooting for Lindsay for so long (until c. '05-'06) was on the strength of her dual performance in "The Parent Trap." Natasha Richardson was also in it, and I still love watching it. It will definitely be bittersweet the next time I see it again...
1i think that it's a nice sentiment that she extended there. i think that PT was the first movie that LL really did and to have that experience with Natasha is something that she'll always remember.
2Yeah, let's make it all about Lindsay shall we. Never mind the poor dead woman or her grieving family.
3I was wondering if Lindsay was going to make a statement. Unfortunately, this sounds like it's straight out of the mouth of her publicist.
4The statement sounds kind of cold. And yes, it does sound like it's all about LL.
5well,at least it's more tasteful than her crazy stunt after Altman's death.
6I still can't believe Natasha is dead...
It's nice to say something, but I guess the real friends of the family like Ralph Fiennes or Meryl Streep etc. will wait with statement.
7I think about N. Richardson all day, and still can't believe it really happened :S
I don't know but you guys are reading way too much into the statement. to me it just sounds like she's expressing her condolensces to the family..
you guys will always find something bad to say
8Um, yeah, that statement was about how Natasha was lovely and she is thinking of the family...... So it is about the deceased woman and her grieving family, I can't find anything wrong with what she said.
So sad and strange how people can lose their lives in tragic accidents when they weren't trying to hurt themselves, and others don't suffer the potentially tragic consequences to their constant attempts at self- destruction. We really have to appreciate every breath we take.
9that was a cute movie lol
10Well Lindsay LOhan expressed her condolensces to the family first. Jane Fonda hasnt yet and she put Vanessa to her daughter because of Natasha s mom. You always have to see something bad. Neither Natasha s death can save what Lindsay Lohan says. That was her first movie, of course it means something very special for her.
11I'm not a fan of Lindsay but frankly I see nothing wrong with her statement.
12She actually worked with Natasha and knew her. Like anybody else does when someone they knew has died she talks about how she remembers Natasha which is in a positive way.
There is nothing wrong with her statement. Imagine being asked for a quote about someone you worked with for a couple of months a years ago and see how it comes out. She expressed her condolences, that's all she should have done.
13BTW, Jane Fonda has indeed expressed her condolences.
14But not here at Popsugar site otherwise it d be posted here.
15Popsugar is more into whatever Lindsay Lohan says and does. I don't know if they really care about anyone else's statements no matter how renowned these actors are.
16nothing wrong with her statement....
17Nothing wrong with the statement, it just seems too coherent to be from LL. I would expect her to twitter or MySpace something like... HOw mUcHHH ShE LOooVEd NAtashA and so on....
18she needs a good hair cut- looks shocking on her.
