Ladies Like Carrie, Nicole, Taylor Shine in Vegas at ACMs
The big bright stars of country music came together in Las Vegas last night for the Academy of Country Music Awards. Nicole Kidman stood out on the red carpet, laughing with Keith Urban in her daring dress, while the young ladies in the circuit like Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood lightened things up in their gorgeous gowns. Miley Cyrus looked surprisingly demure with her dad on her arm instead of boyfriend Justin Gaston. Inside the show it was all eyes on the ladies still as Carrie took home the biggest award of the night — entertainer of the year. She said, "I've had a lot of good moments in the last four years. This one takes the cake!" before giving cute a shout-out to her NHL boyfriend Mike Fisher.
Matthew McConaughey is new in the music scene, but he fits right in joking on stage about not losing his shirt while in Vegas and sitting in the audience with Camila Alves. Performers included Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and more. Jamie Foxx is a frequent award show attendee and this time he took the chance to talk about change with Barack Obama in the White House and formerly-known-as-Hootie, Darius Rucker, on the country charts. Carrie looked gorgeous per her usual, my kids and I enjoyed Taylor's performance. And, George Strait
had me very excited, that man is yummy.
1i liked the dress that taylor performed in better but oh well. as for miley - i'm not sure that the dress was age appropriate but when you're at the ACM's i guess you want to get very glammed up and look older than you are right?

I was shocked when Carrie said "Mike, baby, I wish you were here".
But I'm so glad for her that she's finally in a relationship where she feels comfortable enough to say that on national TV.
I don't think she planned on doing that though. Because she didn't thank him for the award she won earlier that night. So that must've made him feel pretty good when he was watching the show last night. That their relationship's no longer a secret.
I think this might be the first time she's actually confirmed a relationship? I don't think she did it with Chase or Tony.

12everyone looks great. I'm not a big fan of modern country music; I prefer classic country like Patsy Cline and Hank Williams; but all stars are so fabulous, both in clothes and looks...
13I neverrrrr like what Miley wears on the red carpet. She always tries to dress older and it never suits her.
14I think that red dress Carrie Underwood wore had to sitting on the stage and she literally walked into it (the lower portion). It looked huge! I loved Nicole Kidmans dress and also anything Taylor Swift wears seem to look amazing on her.
