Lea Michele headed back to the recording studio in LA yesterday to start work on her first song for the upcoming season of Glee. She tweeted about getting back to recording, writing, "Couldn't have picked a more beautiful and perfect song to start the year with." While Lea didn't reveal what the new song will be, Alex Anders and Adam Anders, two music producers who work on Glee, did tweet out their support to Lea after the session. Alex, who works as the vocal producer and recording engineer, wrote, "Lea Michele, you were absolutely magnificent today. I am in awe of your strength and your sweet spirit." Alex's brother, Adam, who is the executive music producer on the show, wrote after the session, "Lea Michele, you are the strongest person I know. That was truly amazing."
The first two episodes of Glee will reportedly be Beatles-themed, with the third episode in the season acting as a tribute to the late Cory Monteith, who passed away in July. While it wasn't revealed what episode Lea was working on, she did show her support for Cory by wearing a "Cory" necklace (see below). She has been slowly getting back to her normal routine after mourning Cory's untimely death, including stepping out this weekend to attend Jamie-Lynn Sigler's baby shower in Beverly Hills. Lea also returned to filming for Glee last Thursday, writing, "First day of Glee today. And my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I've missed her so much."
