Kate Bosworth, in white Emilio Pucci, hit the red carpet in NYC last night to celebrate the launch of the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection with Zoe Saldana. Zoe tweeted that she was "so excited to be here!" Leighton Meester, meanwhile, was pumped about the "amazing collaboration." Even the special guests had to wait in line to get their hands on the goods — we caught Kate at the register at the end of the night!
The much-awaited collaboration between the two retailers goes on sale this Saturday, Dec. 1 — check out all the Target + Neiman Marcus items, which were created by designers like Carolina Herrera, Diane von Furstenberg, Jason Wu, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Tory Burch, and Marchesa. Joining Blake was Taylor Momsen, who apparently has a part in show's final season, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, and Michelle Trachtenberg. Blake was also among the cast members on hand yesterday to shoot Chuck and Blair's romantic wedding.
Weddings have been a big deal lately for Blake. Blake planned most of her own nuptials — she and Ryan Reynolds married last month in Mount Pleasant, SC. According to sources close to Blake, she "wanted it to feel just like she was at home." That meant Ryan and Blake had to include their dogs, Penny and Baxter, in the celebration. The cast of Gossip Girl continued filming their final season in NYC yesterday. Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, and Ed Westwick were in front of the cameras after also appearing on set Monday. Blake and Penn shared a few night scenes, while Ed took off running for his part and Leighton bundled up in a coat in between takes. The season six premiere hits the small screen on Oct. 8, and you can gear up for the big show with a look at pictures from the final episodes of Gossip Girl.
The series may be ending, but Blake has another reason to celebrate. She and Ryan Reynolds got married last month and they've been keeping a low profile ever since. Blake Lively was back on the NYC set of Gossip Girl this morning to log time in front of the cameras with her costars. She was joined on the Manhattan set by Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, and Kaylee DeFer. The foursome worked on a scene together, with Blake checking her iPhone between takes. Blake was bundled up in a W118 by Walter Baker coat and a Theodora & Callum scarf for the episode, despite the mid-70s temperatures in the Big Apple today. She's been working on Gossip Girl for the last two weeks, since taking a short break to marry Ryan Reynolds in South Carolina. Apparently, some castmates attended Blake's wedding — Kaylee told us that Blake got her work friends to go down South for the getaway because she described it as a "girls' trip!"
Being an actress and musician isn't easy, but Leighton Meester makes it look like a breeze.
