Ahead of this weekend's Saturday Night Live hosting gig, Lena Dunham sat down with Savannah Guthrie of NBC's Today to talk SNL, Girls, and her trifecta of hobbies: Netflix, dog park, eating. Joking about her SNL fandom, Lena said, "I didn't want to be the person who shows up for the first day of school with all their pencils sharpened, already knowing all the answers." Savannah also mentioned the Girls parody that came to the show when Tina Fey played a new character, Blerta, and Lena called it the best thing that's ever happened to her. "I thought they took such a smart approach. It wasn't nudity-obsessed, it wasn't all about my weight. It was a really intelligent, thoughtful approach to Girls."
