Leonardo + Lukas = BFF 4-Eva!
Leonardo DiCaprio and his buddy Lukas Haas do everything together these days, and last night it was a courtside seats at the Lakers/Suns game in LA. Besties! From Paris to the Caribbean to Knot's Berry Farm, we rarely see Leo without Lukas by his side and vice versa. Unfortunately for the boys, the Lakers lost last night, but there's no way to complain when you're getting that kind of view of the game. It sounds like Leo is keeping himself very busy with projects these days (Lukas not so much), so methinks we'll be seeing a lot more of these boys all through 2008.

10Glad to see Leo at a Lakers game, again! I got used to it over the years, so I virtually missed those pics during the last two years..*gg*. I love to see him in his usually habit (without that heavy beard he wore for BOL). Yeah, this year started quite good in terms of Leo pics....YAY!

14Leo is so hot! I really love him but I miss his smile! I can`t really remember when was the last time I saw him smiling. Maybe in Morocco when he was playing soccer with his friends on the beach? He always looks so sad!
15I like Lukas more with longer hair and it seems that it is getting longer again. Longer hair is much better for him!
Don't worry! Leo doesn't look "sad", he's concentrating on the game...and maybe the photogs..lol. He doesn't usually smile when he is photographed in his private life...unfortunately. That's why you may think he looks sad. But he's just pissed by the razzi *sigh*

17I have to respectfully disagree with #16. I`m a big Leo fan for years and he definitely looks sad on photos recently. Paparazzi or not, with his girlfriend or not I used to see so many pictures of him smiling and having fun - in private life. Whatever you say it changed recently. I miss that cute smile of his!!!
18Hmm...I still see no evidence of that. Actually, there' no reason why he should be sad. You have to consider that photos are a moment's thing...and nobody can always smile or laugh. I think, Leonardo looks at least quite content on recent pics - and not sad, I have to repeat myself *g*. I mean, I love Leo so much...I hate the thought of him being sad for no evident reason..ugh. He is a very lucky guy - and he knows and appreciates that!
19Through the years of watching Leo develop into a megastar, I remember he had this incredible charisma and sparkle in his eye. As an artist, his eyes look dead as if he made a deal with the devil himself.

22Well, if you don`t know him in person #19 ( and I suppose you don`t ), no offense but how could you know that there is no ( evident ) reason for him to be sad? You know I don`t really know if sad is the right word but something has changed in like the past two years or so. #20 made a point mentioning that there was always a sparkle in his eyes. That`s correct, that`s what I`m missing. Maybe it`s not sadness but something is off....
23@bonnie77: Yeah, I think, I know what you mean. Leo did change over the years, of course. He lost his youthful spontaneity...and maybe that was the sparkle in his eyes you meant?!? This happened slowly after his "Titanic" experience. I guess, it was pretty much the process of really growing up for him. It only began in 1999 and I guess, it's still in progress. Yes, and maybe over the last three or two years, it's more obvious...I really can't say, because I grow with Leo *gg* People are changing in the course of life...and so does Leonardo. Sometimes I miss his youthful sparkle, too. But basically, since I've been a fan since "Titanic", I know it only by retrospective...
24P.S. Sorry for the mistake in my last post. I meant "obvious", not evident. Of course (I mean VERY unfortunately *smiles*) I don't Leonardo personally.
Just one more thing to Dorian Hunter. I really don`t want to argue but growing up doesn`t necessarily mean losing that certain something that I`m trying to describe and I cannot see anymore. Maybe you are right and as he is getting more mature he is changing. But I remember a picture taken in Morocco with his friends on the beach a couple of months ago. That was the Leo I am missing now. He was relaxed, happy and smiley. I loved those pictures! Anyway, I love him and wish him the best.
25Hehe..no we're not arguing, just discusising *smiles*. I love to talk about Leo! And yeah, I love those pictures from the Morocco soccer game, too! He was having fun, you could see. He also had fun on New Year's Eve with his friends and girlfriend...there you can see, he was happy. The pics above (from the Lakers game) are taken when the Lakers were going to lose (and they lost that game in the end); so Leo wasn't pleased about that. This is also most probably a reason why he doesn't look happy.
26As for maturing..hmm...I think, it's different for each person, you know?!? Leo has gone through a lot of things to learn about humanity and life over the last ten years. He is not the same person who played in "Titanic" - and yet he IS. I know in my heart that Leo didn't change as a person. He's just adapting to his circumstances (which are mostly the lucky ones). He always strikes me as very human and authentic, although he is supposed *gg* to be a "Movie Star".
I love this guy to pieces, that's for sure!!!

27I don`t wanna be a pain on anyone`s neck but I wasn`t really impressed by the NYE or the recent vacation pictures either.
