Let's Hope the News on CBS is Real

IS CBS telling Katie Couric to lose some weight? They seriously photoshopped about 20 lbs off the news anchor for her new promo ads. The original picture was taken at the May upfronts and the image on the right is updated thanks to the help of Photoshop. Apparently Katie did not know they were retouching her photo but she joked about it when she saw the latest version of herself. She said she liked the original one better and that, "There's more of me to love." Oh CBS, let's hope the news you bring is more realistic.

Couldn't agree more, Curly, about Katie or Ann Curry. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ann Curry!! Unfortunately (or fortunately in the case of the new CBS evening program) I never watch network news. I'm a cable news addict, though. Could Ann maybe get a job on cable?

Isn't it amazing what Photoshop can do, incredible, right? Now, picture that with runway models and used within Vogue OFTEN ... Many photos are airbrushed and touched up, not just Katies.

using photoshop in the celebrity world is one thing but using it in the news world i think is completely different. cbs is setting a bad precedent for katie. if she is going to be about fluff then this is the way to set it up for her. if she is going to be about substance then they should have left the pictures untouched.

I think she looked fine before. She actually looked better, honestly. Society sends such mixed messages these days - love and accept your body BUT make sure you look skinny/fit/attractive to other people. I don't get it.

I love Ann Curry so much more than her. I'm so glad Ann Curry stepped into her shoes on NBC. It was the BEST move NBC made letting her go and promoting Ann. Ann Curry is just a beautiful nice person- She donated 10 inches of her beautiful for hair to "Locks With Love" ... Kids with Cancer. She is awesome !! Bye bye Katie and welcome Ann Curry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything about her looks fake to me ... That smile, the ugly mug, that hair and her over-sized ego. She thinks she IS CBS. I think Howard Stern had a few choice funny lines for her, even he knocks on her, but then again, he knocks on everyone ... lol !!!! YIK! She makes me ill .. She is one of those people, if she pops up on my tv screen, i MUST change the channel and quickly ...

Ya, I don't care for her at all. Maybe it's because I know people that have met her (Two to be honest) and they both said the same thing, she is a mean, mean woman who is just bottomline not friendly kind or genuine when the cameras are turned the other way. She is rude to her staff and Matt Lauer and Angelina Jolie have both said things similar. Matt is actually "Glad" she is gone, he did not come out and say that, but he said something to the affect- "It's good she found other opportunities that allow her to grow" ... ya, so she can get away from him !!! Just look at her fake evil smile ... She is the "She-Devil" !!

She is one wealthy woman that I support in bashing. She is truly a nightmare, not who she really is off camera. Even Angelina Jolie has said that. In fact, Angelina Jolie REFUSES to do any type of interview or appearance when she is even on the set. Good for Angelina !

This photo is in a NYC Newspaper and its listed as, "50" pounds, not 20. Additionally, my friend met Katie and said she is the meanest, rudest, and condenscending b*tch to walk the face of the earth ... She is far from a beautiful queen. Last year, Matt Lauer and his wife separated and Katie blew the cover on live TV, I remember ... Matt was very upset because he wanted it kept a secret ... I can't stand her. She is way over-rated and she is way mean to people when the cameras are OFF.

She lookes fine in the original picture. This is what a NORMAL woman looks like. She is what, size 6 in it? To take that picture and photoshop it into a fake size 2 is just pathetic.
