Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw, and we're chatting with Liam Hemsworth about the Hunger Games and his and Miley's mutual George Clooney crush at Cosmo's Fun and Fearless awards. See our interview with him and the rest of the evening's star-studded arrivals more in today's PopSugar Rush.
DAKOTA FANNING: The movie looks great, so I'm excited, like everyone else in the world [laughs]
FREIDA PINTO: I have friends who have read the books and they keep filling me in on it, and they're really excited to see it . . .
BLAKE SHELTON: My wife is a huge fan. She's actually on the soundtrack for the movie, so she'll be freaking out I'm sure.
The Hunger Games was a hot topic of conversation at Cosmopolitan's Fun and Fearless Awards! Dakota Fanning, Paul Rudd, Jonah Hill, and yes, Liam Hemsworth were just a few of last night's honorees in New York City, and it seems several stars already have a case of Hunger Games fever. PopSugar editor Allie Merriam was there as the event kicked off, and caught up with Liam on the carpet.
ALLIE MERRIAM: Liam has a few fun and fearless females in his life, and he told us about one in particular — Jennifer Lawrence.
LIAM HEMSWORTH: She's an incredibly unpredictable person in real life, and extremely fun to work with, but yeah, she keeps you on your toes.
Liam is currently on a mall tour for the movie along with Jennifer and Josh Hutcherson, and he let us in on how the fans have been so far . . .
LIAM: It was lots of screaming fans, a few teary-eyed fans, which was interesting. [show still of fans at event] Very flattering, very nice to see that people are that passionate about it.
But when it comes to who he idolizes, Liam is all about George.
LIAM HEMSWORTH: I don't think there's a man on earth who doesn't think George Clooney is a cool guy, he's George Clooney.
ALLIE MERRIAM: Is your girlfriend Miley Cyrus in agreement on that?
LIAM HEMSWORTH: Yeah, I think so.
ALLIE MERRIAM: Everyone loves Clooney.
LIAM HEMSWORTH: Everyone loves Clooney.
ALLIE MERRIAM: The night was all about the fun and the fearless, and many of the stars told us about the daring things they've done so far in 2012.
DAKOTA FANNING: Probably starting my spring semester at college, that was probably the most fearless thing.
FREIDA PINTO: Not this year, in 2009, just packing my bags and saying I'm going to work in the international cinema.
ROSE BYRNE: Probably tell a joke at the Academy awards, that was pretty scary [show still of moment] but I was with Melissa McCarthy, so you can't fail, you can't fail.
