Wearing cuffed jeans and a fedora, Naomi lathered her little ones up in sunscreen before relaxing on the sand. Her partner, Liev Schreiber, took their boys out yesterday for a pony ride at the farmers market in Brentwood, then later met up with Naomi for a walk with their Yorkie pup.

The family has been spending plenty of time outdoors as Spring begins. Naomi and a shirtless Liev took the boys to the beach recently for picnicking and exploring the rocky shoreline. Naomi's managed to fit in lots of family time despite her many projects in production. Naomi recently signed on for Queen of the Desert with Robert Pattinson and Jude Law, as well as Birdman with Emma Stone. She is also gearing up to play Marilyn Monroe in her latest biopic, Blonde, and has her highly anticipated film Diana arriving in theaters later this year.

Sasha and his little brother, Kai, matched in striped shorts as they explored the shoreline with their parents before posting up on a blanket. Naomi and her family were in Malibu earlier this month and returned for another day in the sun, followed by an outdoorsy lunch at Taverna Tony restaurant.

The relaxing beach days come during a busy time for Naomi, who has several films in production. Her highly anticipated portrayal of Princess Diana will be on the big screen when Diana is released in October, and now she's preparing to play another famous beauty, Marilyn Monroe, in the biopic Blonde. Naomi will also star in Queen of the Desert alongside Robert Pattinson and Jude Law and is teaming up with Emma Stone for Birdman as well.

The family of four is enjoying downtime now that they've wrapped up a busy award season. Naomi was an Oscar nominee for her role in The Impossible, and while she didn't take home the best actress statuette, she had Liev on her arm for the festivities.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner showed love yesterday afternoon at the John Varvatos 10th annual Stuart House Benefit. Ben and Jen were the day's cochairs, and they arrived together, posing for pictures separately and side by side, before heading into the event and taking the stage to help raise funds for Stuart House, a rape treatment center. Ben welcomed the time with his wife, telling reporters that he's been relaxing with his family since winning best picture for Argo. He said, "I've been able to really just enjoy my good fortune in the last couple of weeks and sit back and kind of just take it in and not do anything, just eat ice cream on the couch. It's been a really nice time to hang out with my wife and that sort of thing, so we're just enjoying it."

They were among the many celebrity couples who turned out for the bash. Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber looked right at home in the California sunshine, as did Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. Joe Manganiello made the rounds with girlfriend Bridget Peters, though Nina Dobrev was without her boyfriend and Vampire Diaries costar Ian Somerhalder.

Although she has been busy making the rounds at award shows, she recently made time for a trip to Park City, UT. Naomi debuted her new film Two Mothers with costars Xavier Samuel and James Frecheville at the Sundance Film Festival last week. The award-season excitement is far from over for Naomi, who heads to the Oscars — where she is nominated for best actress as well — next month.
