It's kinda weird that Martha Stewart and Lil Kim have already served their sentences (sorta), yet the good ol' boys of Enron have yet to see the inside of a jail cell...like 5 years later. I'm all for justice. I believe Lil Kim and Martha should be punished for their crimes. HOWEVER, violent criminals are released before their full sentence is served essentially because they haven't attacked anyone in prison and it's too crowded. Um, I'd rather have Lil Kim or Martha doing LOADS of community service or even go unpunished, rather than have serial rapists and child molesters run free. Ken Lay and co. aren't violent people, but they basically screwed a lot of people. If people are arrested, jailed, convicted and jailed again for stealing a wallet with maybe $100 in it, people who rob people of about a million times that should get at least the same treatment. Maybe I have a bit of a double standard. To me, the punishment should fit the crime or make up for the harm caused. Perjury is a serious offense but if our prisons are so overcrowded, why not just give them community service? Many organizations need the help.

Has it really been ten months? I guess it just doesn't seem as long cause I watched Lil Kim's "countdown to lockdown" so it seems like she just went in.

EP there is def a double standard. Who ever heard of criminals getting released to record albums or make videos (ahem Shyne... he's a rapper for those who don't know). They should get a job in the commissary for 2.00 and hour like everyone else.

She's definately one of the best female rappers, and i have to hand it to her. I *Do* believe she had some fake boob troubles while she was locked up. Had to get rid of her nails, hair extensions, the lot.
May have been shown in countdown to lockdown, but I'm in Australia, and we're basically 30 years behind.... so sadly I didn't get to see it.
