This morning on Ryan Seacrest, the highly anticipated first single off of Madonna's new Hard Candy album made its world premiere. The song is called "4 Minutes" and features JT and Timbaland. Give it a listen and then tell us what you think — love it or leave it?

I am one of the biggest fans of these artists, but I must say, this song is not good. These artists can produce much better quality work. This song is not catchy, creative or memorable. This is what happens when you become over confident and start underestimating your audience. Unfortunately the radio and tv networks will force it down our throats, and it'll begin to grow on us. But on first listen, its very poor quality over all, from technical production to songwriting. It sounds like music spaghetti, its too busy. I'm a true fan of all these artists, but I'm very disappointed.

Madonna has always been onboard with current music trends by collaborating with the latest "new thing" in the pop industry. Unfortunately for today's sound, this includes "Timbaland & Timberlake"; lending the same tired and dated old grooves and over-produced hip-hop/urban pop sound to possibly some of the pop diva's less formidable work. It is no surprise her name is mentioned within the song as if to remind us to whom we are actually listening. However, I am sure it will serve its purpose in bringing in a younger crowd to Madonna at least for a single CD's amount of time. As for the universitality of its staying power and memorability, I'd rank it among most trendy pan-flashes: extremely forgettable and trite. Including this sound into her current body of work in a live atmosphere should prove interesting at best.

i was really exited to hear it. now that i heard it, i am more exited about the new album. the song is faboulas. i love it. many people are saying that its boring, hate it and other stuff like that, because it's Madonna singing. what if britney or beyonce or shakira would sing this??? everybody will say they like it, because of their names. no one can do it better than MADONNA..... I´M A FAN OF MADONNA´S CAREAR. BUT I HAVE TO SAY THAT MADONNA DON´T HAVE VOICE ENOUGH TO SHINE BY HERSELF. SHE HAVE TO MAKE A COLABORATIONS WITH SOMEONE ELSE TO MAKE SUCCESS. AND THAT´S WHY SHE´S THE QUEEN OF POP. UNTIL NOW. As with all Madonna songs it takes a few times for all the layers of stuff going on in it to start sinking in. I have absorbed it more each time I've listened to it. Their voices are perfectly balanced, so I don't know what the comments about JT's hogging the mike are about. Not only are their voices balanced, but they are equally on key and rich. The rhythm is hot and the tune is catchy. Go, Madonna and JT.

I am so disappointed. It's almost as boring as the duet with Spears. I've listened to the song several times, I've tried it in my iPod doing jogging and...nothing. It's not empowering, it's not vibrant, it's not innovative, it's not STILISH!!! She's not kicking anyone's ass, she's kissing it, actually. That "freaky freaky" or whatever that Timbaland does...oh my God, it's so stupid and vulgar. If she wanted some black record she should have avoided these sounds heard over and over again. There is so much innovation going on in the jazz, hip hop, r'n'b, it could have been much more interesting. The only thing I am looking forward to is the stuff with Pharrell, Danja and Swizz Beats.

God awful! I am an old Madonna fan, became one in 83 in college. Have purchased every studio album without even hearing the songs. But I could have told you a hip hop effort would be disastrous. What friend or husband would let her go through with this? 4 minutes is just horrible. Janet's "Feedback" sounds like a number 1 hit compared to this and that song only got to 19 on the charts. Confessions on a Dance Floor was a great way to go out. Hard Candy was not the way to go out. The up side is she will now have time to be a full time Mom.

i love it! its def something to sing along with. Its typical Timb production, its very diff for Madonna which is cool. Justin sounds really good as usual. I wasnt feeling the breakdown at the end or the beginning kinda took too long. but other then that its catchy chorus
