Love It or Leave It: Ashlee Simpson's “Outta My Head" Music Video

Ashlee Simpson's new video for "Outta My Head" has been released and well, it's certainly interesting. The pop star who works hard at pretending to not be so popish uses this video to display her more artsy side. She even described it as a mix of Being John Malkovich and Salvador Dali. We were intrigued at first, but the more we watched the crazier it seems. Although you all were not huge fans of the song, we have to say we think it's super catchy. What do you think about the video?

i didn't even read the first intro to this video and when i watched it.. it reminded me of Salvador Dali. my favorite artist of all time. :]

I do see influences of Cyndi Lauper and Gwen Stefani, and as much as I'd like to abhor the song because I normally don't like Ashlee Simpson, I find it both catchy and even interesting.

I love Ashlee, but I definitely do NOT love this song, or the video. I see where she's coming from on the concept, but the song sucks..... Maybe Pete should help her out with that.....

I agree with everyone who says gwen sefani rip off..Down to the ticking clock at the beginning Gwen Stefani isn't a rip off of the 80's..She may take INFLUENCE.. But she comes up with her own thoughts.. And they're probably HER own thoughts and ideas Whereas I am sure Ashlee Simpson is going off what other people tell her to do .. tell her what's cool.. I don't think this talentless hack could come up with this.. I mean this is the girl who facked up on SNL .. And then blamed it on Acid Reflux Pass

Funny and original video, but I don't like the song. Maybe it has to grow on me, but for now I find it annoying.

I love it! It has elements of Salvador Dali's work, 80's + Alice in Wonderland and just Modern stuff! I seriously LOVE IT! SO ORIGINAL & CREATIVE!!

I love Ashlee, I love the song, I love the video. Many people said in their comments that all videos were the same, here is something different! I always want to see what Ashlee is going to do next, she's always changing hair color, rhythms and her videos always change I think she's very original, and I love her, from the very start.Melannie
