Madonna's Sweet Album, Not So Sweet Apartment Issue
For all you Madonna fans, the latest news on her upcoming album is that we can expect an April 2008 release date! Obviously, we're thrilled to see what Madonna will do next — especially when she's collaborating with Kanye! The album is supposedly going to be called Licorice, so as you can imagine, we can't wait to eat this new treat up. In other Madonna news, seems like NYC is giving her a hard time expanding her empire. The family spends most their time in London, but they want to enlarge their NYC digs and unfortunately her plans to expand into her ex-neighbor's apartment were thwarted by the co-op board in her building. Of course, M isn't going down without a fight, and filed a suit in Manhattan Supreme Court against the board for breach of contract. Sounds like a bit of a sticky situation, but something tells us that Madonna is going to end up getting what she wants.

I absolutely agree. I don't think she's been entertaining since the early 90s, if even that late.

10Actually, co-op boards have an incredible amount of discretion to decide what they want to do with a particular building, so she might NOT get what she wants, for once anyway. I gotta say, I wouldn't mind seeing that. I'm a little bored with the sense of entitlement that most celebrities seem to have.

I think anyone with any money or celebrity should not be allowed to get what they want as a matter of policy, even if their wishes make sense, or those trying to stop them (co-op board in this case) are unreasonable. This will make my life seem better!
I've never really liked Madonna anyway, so I definitely hope her life starts to suck more.

15It's probably just a mix-in with water. You can get dozens of flavors that are pre-measured for bottled water. Looks like an iced tea one to me.

Probably not. If she gets too many shares in the co-op, she could end up "running" the building and they are not likely to let that happen.

19I can't believe how much I used to love this woman. All I see when I look at her now is an old, greedy hag who buys Afrikan children, is in a cult, ruined her husband's bright future as a filmaker and can't stand anyone else being as succesful than her. She's officially building kaballah centers in Malawi, that was her plan the whole time. She needs to do more than retire, she needs to convert back to catholisism and confess all her dirty sins. Shame on her and shame on David's father for pretty much selling his own son, all that "I wanna give him a better life" is bull and most people know it.
