When they weren't showing off their Halloween costumes, this crew of celebrities provided outfit inspiration of the chicer variety. That doesn't mean that they were all dressed up — looks from favorites like Gwyneth Paltrow, Karolina Kurkova, and Kristen Stewart ran the gamut from the cool and casual (we're looking at you, Karolina) to the more polished cocktail wares we saw from both Gwyneth and Kristen. As for the ultraglam, Jennifer Lopez lit up this week's UNESCO gala in a lacy, one-shouldered Lanvin gown — but you'll have to click inside to see that and the rest of this week's top 10.

Stars came out to celebrate the opening of Rag & Bone's new flagship store in LA last night. Cameron Diaz posed with pal Reese Witherspoon on her way into the event, which also brought out Emma Roberts, Mandy Moore, and Kate Mara. It was Reese's first official red carpet since giving birth to son Tennessee James Toth in September. Reese has been all about the brand lately, wearing her Harrow booties and stocking up at the new shop on Thursday afternoon. Cameron, meanwhile, has been spending time with friends and met up with Gwyneth Paltrow for dinner on Monday and a group of ladies for lunch this Tuesday. Also on hand to toast the retail spot were Rag & Bone designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, stylists Meritt Elliott and Emily Current, and Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka.

The actress-singer paired a turquoise liner with a peachy orange lipstick, and the color combination is all about knowing what works for you. Mandy's chocolate-brown eyes pop against the shimmery blue-green liner, so the first thing you've got to do is match your eye color with your makeup color:

  • Brown eyes: blue-green or purple.
  • Blue eyes: orange or bronze.
  • Hazel: purple or dark green.
  • Green: blue or gold.

Next, choose a lipstick color. Reach for one that is the opposite of your liner hue. Mandy's orange color works in a few ways: it's an amped-up neutral that doesn't compete with her blue eyeliner, but it also complements the warm undertones of her skin. Stick with opposite colors (like red and green or gold and purple), and you'll nail this look time and time again.

Yesterday's Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in LA was a family affair for stars such as Rachel Zoe, Alessandra Ambrosio, Selma Blair, and Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn. The India-inspired event also drew Lauren Conrad and her boyfriend William Tell, who were spotted cozying up to each other in the VIP tent, Twilight star Ashley Greene, and Justin Long, among others. We spotted Justin horsing around with Jerry and Rebecca's twin daughters during the kid-friendly party, where fellow moms Rachel and Alessandra also did some bonding with their little ones.

The match was a close one, but polo star Nacho Figueras's team reigned supreme with a score of 10 to 9 after actress Ali Larter kicked things off by throwing out the first toss. With son Skyler Berman and husband Rodger Berman by her side, Rachel presented Ralph Lauren model Nacho with an oversize bottle of Champagne at the awards ceremony, during which he was honored as the day's MVP.

The ladies stepped out to celebrate the label's new red wine at a Moulin Rouge-themed party at Bar Marmont, just down the street from the famed Chateau Marmont. Mandy, who wore Lela Rose, was overheard chatting about collaborating with husband Ryan Adams on her upcoming album. Her last studio album was 2009's Amanda Leigh. In the years since, she's done some acting on the big screen instead, voicing the animated movie Tangled in 2010 and starring opposite Kellan Lutz in last year's Love, Wedding, Marriage. Mandy stopped to chat with Eva as well as Jaime, who made the rounds in a look from Jason Wu.
