Mariah Carey Gives Birth to Twins!

It's a boy and a girl for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon — on their wedding anniversary! Mariah Carey's twins were born at 12:07 p.m. EST on Saturday morning, according to a statement released by her rep. Nick and Mariah have yet to name the babies, though we can't wait to hear what the new parents pick. Nick was apparently so nervous that he initially went to the wrong part of the hospital and the two listened to her hit "We Belong Together" after the twins were born. Nick and Mariah got married on April 30 in 2007 and were planning to renew their vows on Sunday. Congrats to Nick and Mariah on their new additions and wedding anniversary!

and I'm sure she's recovering in luxury from the tummy tuck and lipo...congrats on a well planned pregnancy/scheduled c-section....too bad they were upstaged by the royal wedding and the "death" of that person

I am surprised by the ugliness in some of the comments above. Ok, Mariah does not strike me as the most sane, most intelligent, least attention-seeking person I can think of, but having a baby - or two, as in this case - is a unique and wonderful experience. I congratulate her and her husband - as I would with any new parent who is not an abusive drug addict or otherwise have issues which make them completely unfit to raise a child. To me, it seems that she has calmed down a lot of the last few years and found happiness, and I really hope the happiness will continue for the sake of the children.

Education in civilized society has been reduced to using two adjectives apparently. Love it and hate it. There actually are many more and certain people should try learning a few. Instead of hate perhaps, realism or apathy. These are more appropriate in this case because anyone who pays any attention to Mariah knows that she has always done every thing for attention and in thee most sickening fashion that would make even sugarplum fairies vomit cotton candy. That's the gist of the commentary.

Wow. So planned. But To fix something like that is soo perfect. So romantic. But I think they should just have let the babies be born by themselves. I feel so bad for them kids. Their parents are crackheads. Big fuckin crackheads and I hope they survive through their childhood. GOOD LUCK TO THE PARENTS AND CHILDREN. THEY'LL NEED IT.

Can't you just sense that this was all planned. From the in vitro, picking the genders down to planning a c-section on their wedding anniversary. Too much! It's hilarious! The kids will miraculously have straight, fine hair, blue or green eyes and their names will be something equally nauseous like Rainbow and Nickelodeon. :D
