Mariah's New Video — Love It or Leave It?

Mariah has rolled out a video for the first single off of her new album E=MC², and she clearly took this opportunity to show off her hot body. As usual, there are plenty of shots of her skimpy dresses as she teases a young computer geek (played by Jack McBrayer from 30 Rock). You guys were pretty split on her first single, but check out the video below and see if it changes your mind. You know I didn't really like the song initially but the video is hilarious and makes the song a little cuter. I mean, if you're real/honest then you'll admit that this is another typical Mariah song- cute and peppy. And feel good.And there's nothing wrong with that.

I watched this last night on BET, and i kept thinking "mariah needs to grow up already, and stop with the coy smiley vampy teenager bit" I think she can sing, but she just doesnt have that "star" power behind her, I forget she exists untill she is flashing her legs at us and singing some horrible song.

We're supposed to think that she is poking fun at herself, and it looks like it. But knowing Mariah's character and her history, it's always possible that it's genuine and made to look like a parody to help her. If it was straight up we would all say she was crazy but since she "earned" back respect... or got her career back anyway...w/ "The Emancipation of Mimi" it would be counterproductive for her to do a "loverboy" again...but I feel that's what it is:Ans: Leave it.It's kind warped in that way.
