Marion Cotillard Dons Dior For Her Tokyo Premiere

Marion Cotillard took to the red carpet today in Japan for the Tokyo premiere of her film Rust and Bone.

Marion Cotillard took to the red carpet today in Japan for the Tokyo premiere of her film Rust and Bone. Marion also debuted her edgy new fringe haircut at the event, where the actress received a bouquet of flowers and spoke to the crowd before the film's screening.

Marion chose a strapless floral dress from Christian Dior's pre-Fall 2013 collection for the occasion, which is fitting since she is the face of Lady Dior. Marion has been linked to the French label since 2008, but this time around, she got hands on with handbags. Dior released a behind-the-scenes video of Marion's creative process while designing her very own carryall, called the 360° Bag.

To get this low-volume look, sidestep the mousse and use a silkening serum like Kenra Shine Serum ($18) for a high-gloss blowout. Then, go over with a flat iron to smooth strands. Finally, use a touch of styling wax on your fingers to style parted bangs for an added edge. Marion completed her look with sparkling copper shadow and a glossy salmon lip color.

Marion signed on to star in Two Days, One Night and will begin filming in Belgium this Summer. She'll also hit the big screen in her latest, Blood Ties, which Guillaume directed, in the coming months.

It's been a big year for Marion, who was recently honored for her work at the César Awards. Marion donned a black and white Christian Dior gown to step out for the French award ceremony. She was nominated for best actress for her work in Rust and Bone, but she ultimately lost out to Amour's Emmanuelle Riva.

Marion Cotillard was in Cambridge, MA, today to accept her Harvard Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year award with a parade. The celebratory ride through Cambridge was followed by a roast, where Marion received a traditional pudding pot. The honor went to Claire Danes last year, and the group's honorary male recipient will be named at a later date and recognized on Feb. 8.

Marion was also celebrated on the red carpet earlier this month. Marion attended the SAG Awards in an eye-catching blue-and-white Dior gown after also appearing at the Golden Globes and the Critics' Choice Awards. Though Marion was nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor for her role in Rust and Bone at the SAGs, the best actress honor went to Silver Linings Playbook star Jennifer Lawrence. Marion nonetheless has a seal of approval from her husband, Guillaume Canet. Marion and Guillaume kissed at The Grove last week while they shopped with their adorable 1-year-old son, Marcel.

Marion Cotillard stopped to kiss her partner, Guillaume Canet, as they shopped at The Grove in LA last Thursday. The actress, who has been spending time in Hollywood during award season, joined Guillaume and their 1-year-old son, Marcel, for a day at the outdoor mall.

On Sunday, Marion attended the SAG Awards in a straight-from-the-runway look from Dior. She was nominated for her role in Rust and Bone, but Jennifer Lawrence ended up snagging the statuette that night for her work in Silver Linings Playbook. Marion's performance as a double amputee in the French-language film has earned her lots of accolades, including a Golden Globe nomination, but she was edged out of the Oscar race. Instead, Jennifer, Jessica Chastain, Naomi Watts, Amour's Emmanuelle Riva, and Beasts of the Southern Wild's young star, Quvenzhané Wallis, will vie for best actress at the Academy Awards on Feb. 24.

Celebs Were All About the Hot-Off-the-Runway Gowns at the SAG Awards

The award season is a time when the celebrities pull out all of the fashion stops.

The award season is a time when the celebrities pull out all of the fashion stops. We're talking about decadent jewels, perfect hair, standout footwear, and, of course, gorgeous gowns. Last night's SAG Awards didn't disappoint in any of the above categories, as we witnessed a bevy of A-list actresses dressed to the nines. With that said, there were a select few that got to wear extraspecial dresses — the kind straight off the runway. With only weeks since the Pre-Fall '13 lineups debuted, and literally just days since the Spring '13 Couture shows, designers were more than eager to offer up their beautiful gowns for celebrities to wear on the red carpet last evening. We're talking about Jennifer Lawrence's stunning navy Christian Dior Haute Couture gown, Anne Hathaway's sheer Giambattista Valli — both gowns made their debut on the runway less than a week ago — and Amanda Seyfried's Pre-Fall Zac Posen mermaid confection. The Chicest Looks From the SAG Awards Red Carpet

At Sunday's Screen Actors Guild Awards, Jennifer Lawrence and Marion Cotillard continued their recent streak of wearing Christian Dior on the red carpet — and each actress looked just as dazzling as ever.
SAG Awards 2013: Best Dressed on the Red Carpet (Pictures)

At Sunday's Screen Actors Guild Awards, Jennifer Lawrence and Marion Cotillard continued their recent streak of wearing Christian Dior on the red carpet — and each actress looked just as dazzling as ever. Under normal circumstances, that would come as no surprise, but the fact that both were feeling under the weather made it all the more impressive. Lawrence, who said she was recovering from walking pneumonia, stunned in a navy-blue strapless gown from Dior's recently shown Spring 2013 Couture collection, while Cotillard looked utterly chic in a custom blue and white bilevel gown and an asymmetrical coif to match.

Of course, there were plenty of other gorgeous looks as well. The ladies of Mad Men made an impact in a range of styles, and each seemed to match her respective persona perfectly; Kiernan Shipka was charming in in a blush-colored Oscar de la Renta dress and silver ankle-strap peep-toes, Jessica Paré channeled Old Hollywood mystique in emerald-hued Jason Wu, and January Jones exuded drama in a high-collared Prabal Gurung gown.

But perhaps the most enchanting look of the evening was Amanda Seyfried's: in a body-hugging cobalt mermaid gown from Zac Posen's Pre-Fall 2013 collection, the actress nearly stole the show.
