Slumdog Millionaire
Now that I've seen the movie and read the book I'm excited to go back and watch the movie again! Can you tell I'm into this flick? When this year's Oscar winner for Best Picture hit theaters, it began an epic journey into the hearts and minds of moviegoers around the globe, and I have a feeling many people will end up owning it on DVD.

The story follows an 18-year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, Jamal (Dev Patel), who is accused of cheating as a contestant on India's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. To prove his innocence he reflects back on his amazing life in director Danny Boyle's intense and inspiring movie.

Special features include "Slumdog Dreams: Danny Boyle and the Making of Slumdog Millionaire," deleted scenes, and commentary by Danny Boyle and Dev Patel.

Jennifer Aniston matched her Burberry dress to her pretty eyes this evening for the London premiere of Marley & Me. Owen Wilson was also looking dapper in his suit, though he kept things playful with his sneakers. As Owen toured Europe to promote the film, his on-again lady love Kate Hudson has been busy partying it up at Milan Fashion Week. For now, though, Owen only needs one gorgeous woman by his side — and Jennifer looks happy to continue showing off this hit movie while she waits for her moment to kick some ass on screen.

Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson wrapped up their Italian adventures and headed to Germany to continue to promote Marley & Me in Europe. They were in Cologne on Saturday for a photo call before moving on to Dusseldorf to appear on Wetten dass. . . ? The show's host is known for getting his celebrity guests to do something crazy, and Jen showed her playful spirit by taking a bite of a doggy biscuit when they lost a bet. It's not exactly the yummy cuisine she's used to, but her dog Norman is probably quite proud of her back home in LA.

Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson had lots of smiles for the cameras this morning at the Rome photo call for Io & Marley. Jen traded in her floral print dress for basic black and looked comfortable as usual on her costars arm. This time the two got to pose against a pretty outdoor backdrop. Owen enjoyed Paris with Kate Hudson last weekend so maybe there will be a choice for John Mayer to come join Jen for a little European vacation while she's overseas.

Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson cozied up at a photo call for Marley & Moi in Paris this morning. While Jennifer just arrived in town, Owen has been there all week extending his promotional duties into a romantic getaway with Kate Hudson. The stars of the movie looked fresh-faced and lively posing for the cameras. Jen was showing off her huge gold Rolex, which was a gift from John, while Owen took responsibility holding her pashmina — get Jen's look here. The Christmas release of Marley set box office records in the States, so we'll have to see if Jennifer and Owen's chemistry, with the help of an adorable puppy, can woo international audiences too.

Recently, Clint Eastwood's movies (whether he's behind the camera or in front of it) are often critical hits but that doesn't necessarily translate into immediate box office success — until now!

Eastwood's latest movie, Gran Torino, debuted this weekend in the top spot, earning a whopping $29 million! It seems fitting that a movie that is rumored to be Eastwood's swan song is also his "best nationwide opening of all time, both as an actor and director." If you're gonna go out, go out on top!

In second place came Bride Wars which defied expectations with $21.5 million after a brutal week of being panned by critics. The horror flick The Unborn followed behind the brides in the third spot. Marley and Me and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button rounded out the top five respectively.
