Heidi and Seal Go From Halloween Partying to a Charitable Night

Heidi Klum and Seal were together in NYC last night to host a benefit for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation, and they playfully posed with the organization's founder, Dr. Jane Aronson, on the red carpet.

Heidi Klum and Seal were together in NYC last night to host a benefit for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation, and they playfully posed with the organization's founder, Dr. Jane Aronson, on the red carpet. Dr. Aronson is known for her efforts to help underprivileged children around the world and has previously worked closely with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Heidi and Seal were in philanthropic mode after joining the many celebrity partiers on Halloween, and she was your pick for best dressed in her custom robot outfit. Heidi told us that she was comfortable in the get-up despite being eight feet tall, saying, "I loved it!" Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, also came out for the bash, and he spoke about his time trick-or-treating on Sunday. He said things got wild, but as he headed home someone stopped him to say, "That's the best Hugh Jackman costume I've ever seen!" Check out Heidi, Hugh, and more later today on PopSugar Rush!

Are You Excited For Season Six of Weeds?

We already got a taste of what's in store for the Botwins (or should I say Newmans?) when Weeds comes back next month, but the latest promo gives us a much better look at season six.

We already got a taste of what's in store for the Botwins (or should I say Newmans?) when Weeds comes back next month, but the latest promo gives us a much better look at season six. As expected, the family has to flee, which means taking on new names and costumes while Doug is left in the clutches of Esteban's henchman. One thing's the same though: there's still just as much sexual tension between Andy and Nancy.

The promo made me giggle a few times, but Weeds has definitely morphed into a new beast over the years. It's hard to believe that the first season was all about Nancy dealing pot in her house, and I'm not sure how further the showrunners can go now that the Botwins have caused so much trouble. As far as viewership is concerned, the buzz about about the series seems to have dwindled. That said, I know there are still a lot of fans out there, so where do you stand — are you excited for more?

Howl Trailer: James Franco Channels His Inner Beatnik

Between his soap opera appearances and myriad viral videos, it can be easy to forget that James Franco is actually a very talented actor.

Between his soap opera appearances and myriad viral videos, it can be easy to forget that James Franco is actually a very talented actor. The trailer for Howl is the perfect reminder of Franco's acting chops, taking us back to the beat generation for a glimpse at the life and career of poet Allen Ginsberg. Titled for Ginsberg's famous (and in some cases, infamous) poem "Howl," the film is a juxtaposition of Ginsberg's creative process and the trial that debated the poem's controversial content in 1957.

Jon Hamm plays Ginsberg's defense attorney, but if I told you that Don Draper was plunked into the middle of this movie, it wouldn't be a huge stretch. I caught this movie back at Sundance, and it's definitely worth a look for Franco's remarkable performance. Watch the trailer and let me know what you think after the jump.

RED Trailer: Mirren, Willis, Malkovich, Freeman Play Assassin

Seeing Helen Mirren wield heavy artillery while she talks blithely about baking is one of the best things you'll see all day.

Seeing Helen Mirren wield heavy artillery while she talks blithely about baking is one of the best things you'll see all day. She, Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, and John Malkovich star in RED as retired CIA agents who can't fight the urge to keep kicking butt and taking names.

It's not just Mirren that's funny either; Malkovich plays hilariously paranoid in his postcareer life, while Freeman makes the most of leering living in a retirement home. With Mary Louise-Parker and Richard Dreyfuss also showing their bright, shiny faces, RED has managed to totally capture my attention and look pretty dang fun.

Julia Roberts

Julia and Meryl Lead Hollywood's Finest in Toasting Mike Nichols

Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep were among those who dressed up last night to honor the career of legendary director Mike Nichols.

Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep were among those who dressed up last night to honor the career of legendary director Mike Nichols. The women were joined by stars from many of Mike's famous films like Dustin Hoffman, who starred in The Graduate, Emma Thompson, Natalie Portman, and Tom Hanks. Julia took the stage to toast Mike, saying, "Mike is one of the few people in the world who's an 'EGOT' — it means he's won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony." She mingled with Oprah Winfrey afterward to catch up since their last chat about Eat, Pray, Love. Harrison Ford also shared kind words about Mike, but he spent most of the evening cuddling up to longtime love Calista Flockhart. The evening was notable for another reason — John Goodman finally showed off his dramatic weight loss, and he made the rounds chatting with Hollywood veterans like Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty.

Michael Douglas

Solitary Man: Better Left Alone

Hollywood's latest archetype appears to be the older man in search of himself.

Hollywood's latest archetype appears to be the older man in search of himself. We witnessed it most recently with Ben Stiller in Greenberg, and now comes Michael Douglas ready to give the role a go in Solitary Man.

Douglas stars as Ben Kalmen, a 60-something divorcee and former car magnate who now uses his smarmy sales techniques to pick up women half his age — some as young as 18. He has no discretion, often ogling the prospective one-night stands in front of his ex-wife (Susan Sarandon), daughter (Jenna Fischer), and even his grandson (who he insists should never call him "grandpa" in public). It's an obvious case of Peter Pan syndrome, spawned by a heart scare. You almost want to feel bad for the man for his desperate attempt to reclaim his youth, but it's hard to do when he'd rather bed women than get his health checked.

And there is the rub. Douglas could give the performance of his life in Solitary Man (and trust me, he is excellent), but the character of Ben is so hard to like — and unfortunately, the movie is all about him.
