Matt Damon had a smile on his face as he left the Late Show With David Letterman in NYC last night. Matt's promoting We Bought a Zoo ahead of its release in a few weeks. He sat down with the talk show host to chat about the film and also shared a funny fan story. Matt thought that a couple wanted to take a photo with him but later realized that they were really asking the star to snap a picture of just the two of them together. The camera fun continued when Dave and Matt posed for a holiday-themed shot during the show.
Matt will be back in the spotlight for We Bought a Zoo at the Big Apple premiere on Monday, but the family drama isn't the only project he has in the works. Matt's been filming Elysium for the last few months and has a voice part in Happy Feet Two, which was released last month. Matt's busy career puts him in the running for favorite male celebrity of 2011, though Ryan Gosling and Robert Pattinson are currently taking the lead.
