Matt Damon lent his star power to the One Hundred Event benefitting the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in Boston last night. He was joined by his wife Luciana as well as his father Kent, who is currently being treated at the center. Matt Damon revealed his father has cancer, specifically multiple myeloma, but that Kent is doing well and will "Fight it to a standstill." Both Matt and his dad spoke at the event, which also played host to Matt's Bourne costar Chris Cooper and his wife. Matt's sense of humor was still intact when talking about his love of Boston's sports teams and how he's rooting for the Bruins, though he revealed that his own skating ability is less than impressive. He apparently had to hit the ice for his first-ever TV job, which was on a local channel. Matt Damon joked about the ice-skating gig, "I did a vignette where I played a young Michael J. Fox — and I had to ice skate. I fell and knocked myself out. So my first job ever I actually cost the production money, because I lied in my audition and couldn’t skate."
