Matt Damon Signs Autographs at LAX

Matt Damon Preps For Kimmel and Gets an Award From Harvard

Matt Damon arrived at LAX yesterday in a good mood, ready to sign autographs for fans with a smile on his face. It's a big time for Matt. In addition to his Promised Land arriving in theaters in late December, he's begun press for another big project, his HBO film Behind the Candelabra. Matt went to the Winter TCA in Pasadena, CA, with his costar Michael Douglas and director Steven Soderbergh to chat about the film, which is based on singer Liberace's romance with Scott Thorson.

All the work just earned Matt a big accolade — his alma mater, Harvard, will give him the Harvard Arts Medal on April. While it's not exactly more praise, Matt has some fun scheduled for tomorrow since he's set to appear on his friend Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show. Jimmy's had a long-running feud — in jest only — with Matt, so it will be interesting to see what goes down when the show airs.
