Matt Damon Has Lovely Luciana by His Side on the Contagion Red Carpet in Venice

Matt Damon changed into a suit for the premiere of Contagion in Venice this afternoon. His wife, Luciana, was by his side for the red carpet event and sparkled in a gold gown. Matt had his other leading lady, Gwyneth Paltrow, there for this morning's Contagion photo call at the Venice Film Festival, where they were joined by director Steven Soderbergh and costars Jennifer Ehle and Laurence Fishburne. Matt will be on the go again soon, since he'll be showing off the movie at the NYC premiere next week. Gwyneth, though, isn't expected to attend the Big Apple event.

She's 'thick'???? She is not rail thin which I think is a good thing. Clearly Matt wanted a woman who looked like a woman and not a woman with a boy shape. She is just as beautiful as some of those Hollywood woman who have had so much plastic surgery no one really knows what they looked like before. I love this couple. I also love how you rarely ever see her out looking and groping for attention. She seems to be very happy being a mother to their kids and a wife to him.

this is not a personal attack to matt and luciana, but they made some oops on the outfits. matt's pants are too long and her dress shape is not the most flattering on her. i love this couple, they are so real, but the stylist should be fired.

Agree with the comment about Matt's pant length - how did his tailor allow that? But he and his wife look like wonderful together. Even though she is not "Hollywood" thin, she is radiant and feminine. Gorgeous dress. She always looks beautiful. Loved Matt's comments about Gwyneth's exceptional acting ability. He's a real friend. I'll always see his films - he chooses his projects so carefully, and is a great actor.
