Michelle Williams Pictures For My Week With Marilyn in NYC

Michelle Williams went with a delicate Erdem dress and Roger Vivier shoes for a screening of My Week With Marilyn in NYC on Sunday evening. She was joined by a few costars for the event, though all eyes were on Michelle on the red carpet and her embodiment of Marilyn Monroe in the film. Michelle debuted My Week With Marilyn in LA last weekend and she'll be making her promotional tour international when she is honored by Queen Elizabeth II at a special palace premiere.

Michelle recently spoke about what drew her to Marilyn, admitting that she knows she's not the only person drawn to the icon. Michelle said of Marilyn, "I have always been drawn to Marilyn, but that doesn’t make me special in any way. She has that magnetism and that draw for so many people, so I read about her when I was young, devouring biographies. I’m most interested in her life before she became Marilyn. For me, the interest wasn’t so much in this larger-than-life personality.”
