Mila Kunis donned bikini bottoms for the December "Men of the Year" edition of GQ. Mila was the lone woman to earn a distinction in the issue, being crowned the "Knockout" of 2011. She posed for photographer Terry Richardson both in-studio and at a pool, where she took to a diving board in heels. She broke from shooting Oz: The Great and Powerful to speak with one of the magazine's reporters about moving to the US as a child from the Ukraine. After making the writer a cold remedy that involved boiling wine, vodka, and various vitamins, she also joked about how she doesn't take her work too seriously. Mila said:

  • On moving to the US from Ukraine in second grade: "My English was a little janky. I didn't have very many friends. And there was this place advertised on the radio as a place for kids to meet other kids — an acting class. My parents couldn't afford a babysitter. They said, 'Great, that takes up our Saturday.'"
  • On not taking herself too seriously: "I love what I do, but my theory is that it's people who doubt what they do and want to prove it to you, they're like 'It's art. I create art. It's art, art, art.' I'm like, Holy sh-t, are you f-cking kidding me? I run around and pretend I'm someone else for twelve hours; I record Family Guy. Then I get to go home and watch Jersey Shore."
