Who cares! After seeing some of the sh*t this girl wears a tattoo is nothing.

Nothing this girl does anymore surprises me anymore. She is trying way to hard to shed her good girl image but to be honest, once she does I don't think she'll have that great of a career.

I'm sorry, but does having a tattoo mean that I don't have values?? I'm not a fan of Miley but I find the argument implying that having a tattoo AND values are mutually exclusive extremely judgemental and unfair. I don't drink or smoke and I have a college education but I also have a tattoo. Am I therefore a bad role model?
And also, the tattoo isn't on her boob, it is on her ribcage UNDER her boob. As far as I can tell, the only thing really worth worrying about here is the fact that she was obviously able to get a tattoo while being underage.

I think most people oppose the PLACE of the tattoo.
I got my first when I turned 17, and my dad came with me to guide me, see that the place was clean, make sure I didn't get anything terrible (I thank he talked me out of getting Jim Morrison's face!), etc. Part of guidance I think is to tell a 17 year old that a cute little lizard, heart etc on your back or ankle is one thing, but a big tattoo under your breast is out of place, at least for the time being.

Given the fact the tattoo is under her boob, on her ribcage, which normally wouldn't be seen unless she were wearing a bikini at the time, isn't a major issue for me.

Unless wearing a bikini, it's a pretty discreet tattoo - wait til she's in her 30/40's and those boobs will be covering it! - I'm more concerned her parents thought she was mature enough to get a tattoo.

In my opinion, if you're caught making Asian-eyes in the same year as getting a tattoo, then you are simply not mature enough for the latter.

Since when does getting a tat means you don't have morals or values? I have a arm full and back, and I do volunteer work at a homeless shelter for battered women, I've donated monies to green peace, save the children fund, and worked for meals-on-wheels which is a non-profit organization that feed the elderly 3 times a day here in NY who can't or couldn't afford too other wise.

Okay, I'm 17. I got 3 tattoos [Left side back, && top of my feet]. Many kids have them. I mean the position of the tattoo is inappropriate. The only people that are gonna see it are, People at the Beach, Pools, && the people you have sex with. She should thought of a better spot. Maybe her arm, wrist, leg, back.

I'm the first anonymous poster in the comments... MY issue was that A. She is under 18. I have a 19 year old and a 14 year old, and my rule is "no tattoos until you can legally get them yourself"... I personally have 5, all easily hidden and tasteful, so it's NOT that I think they are trashy... and B. For their underage daughter to get said tattoo, the artist had to be VERY close to her exposed breast... THAT disturbs me. This isn't a cute little something on her ankle, and it's not "on her ribcage"... it's directly under her boob! I'm not sure how that isn't illegal in some way.

anyways, im 22, i got a tattoo on my back its something written too... and trust me its was weird when i was getting it, cause actually i have to take off my bra and it was so uncomfortable, even though i know my tattoo artist, i felt weird.
