Remember when Miley Cyrus bleached her eyebrows? Well, now we know why. The pop star showed off a very, very different look when she landed on the cover of W magazine's March issue, which hits newsstands on Feb. 8. In addition to her bleached brows, Miley also sported a chin-length blond wig, making her look more like a platinum Faye Dunaway then her usual, tongue-baring self. It should come as no surprise that the "We Can't Stop" singer bares a lot of her body in the photos that accompany her interview (which were shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot) and, in a tease she posted on her Instagram, she skirts the line of a wardrobe malfunction in one NSFW shot.
In the interview, Miley gets real with Ronan Farrow about her critics, saying she doesn't "give a sh*t," adding, "I’m not Disney, where they have, like, an Asian girl, a black girl, and a white girl, to be politically correct, and, like, everyone has bright colored t-shirts. You know, it’s like, I’m not making any kind of statement. Anyone that hates on you is below you, because they’re just jealous of what you have." She also touched on how she doesn't depend on the success of her music: "You know, I’ve made my money. If no one buys my album, cool. It’s fine. I’ve got a house, and I’ve got dogs that I love. I don’t need anything else." Miley admits that she has very few close pals, saying: "I have a lot of people that I could call and hang out with, but I have very few friends, if that makes any sense. Like, I just don’t tell a lot of people anything. Everyone’s always like, 'You’re so sketch.'"
