Miley Cyrus was greeted by a legion of British fans as she left the BBC Radio 1 Studios in London on Tuesday. The fur-clad star was all smiles as she waved to the crowd and posed for photos with her supporters. During her morning appearance on the radio show, Miley sang a cover of Lana Del Rey's hit "Summertime Sadness" — you can listen to the impressive rendition here .
Miley touched down in the UK after spending the weekend in Amsterdam for the MTV Europe Music Awards, where she caused quite the stir. Though her performances of "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball" were pretty tame in comparison to her August VMAs set, it was Miley's onstage marijuana moment that got the most attention during the ceremony. While accepting her award for best video, Miley told the crowd, "I couldn't fit this award in my bag, but I did find this," before lighting up a joint and taking a few puffs. The moment was removed from MTV's Sunday-night telecast, and in response to the cannabis controversy, Miley tweeted , "Sometimes in life you just gotta decide to not give AF," adding, "Last night was a blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr."
