Miranda Kerr was the queen of the red carpet at the premiere of Romeo and Juliet on Broadway last night when she rocked not one but two different looks for her husband's big debut. Miranda attended the opening while wearing a white J. Mendel frock but later changed into a sexy Hervé Léger number to attend the afterparty. Meanwhile, Orlando stayed focused on his work during the prepremiere festivities on the carpet by posing with the Juliet to his Romeo, Condola Rashad, and the play's director, David Leveaux. After getting showered with flowers at the end of the play, Orlando met up with his wife at the postpremiere bash to celebrate the successful opening of his first play on the Great White Way. Other attendees included Ian McKellen and Liev Schreiber.
Romeo and Juliet went into previews back in August, and, now that the play has officially premiered, the reviews are starting to trickle in. While many reviewers have been giving the production lackluster reviews, they are careful to note that Orlando and Condola are both excellent in the play. Variety noted that the two actors do "good work" and they "deserve a better chance." Aside from Orlando's big play, Miranda has a massive piece of work to prepare for as she is expected to walk in the Victoria's Secret fashion show in the Big Apple in two months.
