Miss Universe Passes Out

Miss Universe was declared last night. Yeah, I didn't care either but the news of the day is that winner, Miss Puerto Rico Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza passed out following the show. During a new conference after the event she collapsed and was rushed off stage. People reports:

"She's okay. She's fine," pageant representative Lark Anton told Reuters. "She got dizzy. It's very hot up here. Her dress is tight – as you could see it was beaded and heavy. She passed out."

The other important thing they included is that she "had plenty to eat today." Yeah, right, I'm sure.

Onion loaf hair LMAO!! I do like the Donald though. I am from the south -- live outside of Houston -- there are a bunch of wonderful places to eat down here. The mexican food is too die for. Much different here than any where else. Also I will admit we have a bunch of overweight people!!

I really enjoyed the pageant last night! It was the first time I've actually watched one in years. Why do people always have to jump to conclusions? If I were named Ms. Universe I would have collapsed from all the excitement as well ♥

It gets more yellow as the years go by and I am sure he has had some sort of surgery like hair plugs because the hairline gets weirder and weirder.

I applaud the beauty queen. She's slaved her ass to look like that, smiled, tanned, waxed, worked out and prissed around for months.. and then handling all of that attention and wearing that dress and probably not eating too much so she doesn't bloat.... Good the hell on her. Any of those girls deserve the title for putting themselves through it. May not be an intelligence-paegent, but preparation for that must be stupidly challenging. It's not like they'd continue it for the rest of their lives.

ladyKt, I watched the last 45 min or so of the show, her dress did look really heavy on her skinny little body. It was layer upon layer of beading draped from one side to the other. I immediately thought that it looked heavy, although I am sure it had nothing to do with her passing out.

Pinky, I watched the pageant and blogged the whole thing - play-by-play! The only reason I tuned in is because my friend was the dance choreographer for the show.
