Every now and again I like to mix it up by experimenting with contrasting prints. The key to executing this look flawlessly is to find two prints that complement one another. Some common patterns that I like to see paired together are the classic polka dot paired with stripes, houndstooth worn with plaid, or pastoral florals mixed with leopard prints. Mixing patterns is more of an art than a science, and therefore lends the freedom to be uninhibited in your expression.
I’ve mixed the classic polka dot with Missoni stripes. This skirt is great for pulling off a look with mixed patterns because it has multiple stripe patterns within the skirt itself! I’m wearing an H&M sweater, Missoni skirt, Prada slingback heels, Lanvin x H&M pearl necklace and Norma Kamali sunglasses. A perfect look for spring.
