Isla, Mark, and Jesse Make Now You See Me a Family Affair

Isla Fisher donned a L'Wren Scott gown to link up with her costars Jesse Eisenberg and Mark Ruffalo at the NYC premiere of Now You See Me last night. The East Coast debut of the film also brought out cast members Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson, and pregnant Mélanie Laurent. The event was somewhat of a family affair as Mark was accompanied by his wife, Sunrise Coigney, and their kids, Keen, Bella, and Odette, while Michael and Woody both had their wives by their sides on the carpet.

Along with Now You See Me, Isla has also been been busy promoting The Great Gatsby. She spent time in the South of France alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan last week at the Cannes Film Festival, where they attended multiple press events including the big premiere that opened the festival.

Last Vegas Trailer: Partying Never Gets Old

Have you ever rewatched The Hangover and thought, man, these guys are just too fresh-faced and inexperienced to properly party?

Have you ever rewatched The Hangover and thought, man, these guys are just too fresh-faced and inexperienced to properly party? In the off chance that has ever happened, you're in luck with the trailer for Last Vegas, in which aging stars Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Kline, and Robert De Niro star as four friends who head to Sin City for one of their bachelor parties. Once there, they are ready to "party like it's 1959," and the Lipitor jokes start flowing like wine.

All told, the preview is pretty cute, mostly because the actors are so beloved and really seem to be having a good time. If anything, it's worth it to watch Freeman discover vodka Red Bull cocktails and the obvious post-vodka Red Bull dancing. Last Vegas comes out Nov. 1, and you can watch the trailer after the jump.

Oblivion: Tom Cruise's Grin Can't Save This Generic Sci-Fi

I've been excited to see Oblivion since the trailer came out, but it isn't the mind-bending sci-fi film I was hoping for.

I've been excited to see Oblivion since the trailer came out, but it isn't the mind-bending sci-fi film I was hoping for. Though it has a promising premise — a man on a postapocalyptic Earth is troubled by vivid memories of a world he supposedly wasn't alive to witness — it throws lackluster wrenches into the plot and settles for a ho-hum resolution. Jack (Tom Cruise) is one half of a maintenance team that repairs resource-sucking drones on what's left of Earth. He and partner Victoria (Andrea Riseborough) only have a few weeks left until they get to go back home to the moon outside of Saturn where humans are now residing, but mysterious happenings disrupt their plans.

Cruise and Riseborough have a prickly chemistry that's interesting to watch, which is helpful since a large portion of the film just stars the two of them. Cruise brings his usual charm to Jack; even on a desolate landscape with only one person in the world to win over, he still grins, cracks jokes, and delivers silly lines with determination. His signature smile and wit can only go so far, though, and it's not enough to keep this disappointing film afloat. To find out what else I thought of Oblivion, just read more.

Tom Cruise Turns Up the Charm and Shoots Down a Rumor at the Oblivion Premiere

Tom Cruise hugged, chatted, and giggled with his costars at the Oblivion premiere in LA last night.

Tom Cruise hugged, chatted, and giggled with his costars at the Oblivion premiere in LA last night. He made a Burberry-wearing Olga Kurylenko crack a smile on the red carpet and later shared a big hug with Andrea Riseborough, who wore a glamorous Elie Saab frock. He also flirted with his fans, who had crowded the Dolby Theatre for a chance to see Tom, who signed autographs and even kissed the hand of one woman. Other stars at the event included Game of Thrones knight Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Melissa Leo, and Morgan Freeman, who spent his time on the red carpet chatting with Olga and Tom while decked out in a tuxedo.

This was Olga's second big premiere in a row as she attended the screening of To the Wonder with costars Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams the previous night. She's had a packed schedule for the past few weeks, traveling the globe with Tom to premiere their film in South America and Europe. While in Germany, news circulated that Tom had commented that he "didn't expect" his divorce from Katie Holmes during an interview on a TV show. However, his rep now reveals that the quotes were entirely fabricated and he didn't address his recent divorce at all. We were on hand at the LA premiere to chat with Tom, Olga, and the rest of the cast — check back for our interviews soon!

Olympus Has Fallen: Action Gets the Presidential Treatment

Olympus Has Fallen, the latest from Training Day director Antoine Fuqua, is unflinching, unsettling, and a solid action film.

Olympus Has Fallen, the latest from Training Day director Antoine Fuqua, is unflinching, unsettling, and a solid action film. Gerard Butler stars as Mike Banning, a former aide and good friend to President Asher (Aaron Eckhart). Their relationship has been strained since an accident that claimed the first lady's life resulted in Mike's transfer to another department. Yet when the White House is the subject of a brutal attack from an extreme North Korean political group, it's Mike who braves snipers and infiltrates the capitol building in an effort to save the president and his young son. Mike's plentiful hero stunts aside, it's the way Fuqua orchestrates the complex coup that makes the movie feel uncomfortably real.

The film primarily takes place in three places: the bunker where the president is being held, the halls of the White House where the returned hero Mike is roaming, and the off-site safe room where the acting president (Morgan Freeman) and his staff (including Angela Bassett) are grasping the reality that the president's blood will be on their hands if they don't negotiate with the terrorists. It's a clever separation, and the isolation of the three units creates even more tension. To see what else I liked about Olympus Has Fallen, just read more.

Oblivion Trailer: The Future Looks Bleak For Tom Cruise

If you like action, movies about the future, and/or Tom Cruise, there's a good chance you're going to be really into the trailer for Oblivion.

If you like action, movies about the future, and/or Tom Cruise, there's a good chance you're going to be really into the trailer for Oblivion. Cruise stars as Jack Harper, a drone repairman who returns to the Earth 60 years after a near-apocalypse destroyed most of the planet. As he says, nothing human remains. With only two weeks left on the job, his mission goes awry and some curious discoveries — and a cryptic Morgan Freeman — lead him to believe he doesn't know the full story of the war that destroyed the planet.

With a good movie trailer, I can be a sucker for Tom Cruise. Given the combination of action and mystery (I demand to know what happened on that planet), Oblivion does pique my interest. Also, the mere presence of Morgan Freeman is enough for me to consider a trip to the theater, especially when he's wearing those cool glasses. The movie opens April 19, but you can watch the trailer now after the jump.
