Now that her autopsy is complete I hope the tabloids and such will let her rest in peace.I hate how the internet exploits peoples deaths.

When someone dies a violent or suspicious death, medical examiners try to determine both a "cause" and a "manner." The cause refers to the biological condition that killed the victim—in Murphy's case, sudden cardiac arrest. The manner describes all the other circumstances that led up to that particular cause. Most states recognize five different manners: homicide, suicide, accident, natural, and undetermined. If a manner of death is deemed to be "natural," then the victim is thought to have died of an internal disease process or normal deterioration of the body. Outside forces, like chemicals or human intervention, had only a minimal influence. (There are some gray areas: Death by infectious disease is typically categorized as being natural, even though the killer microbes come from outside the body.)

yes anon!!!! people legally "function" on pill forms of morphine and horse tranquilizers b/c they boo hoo about anxiety and other mental issues ;) and I can't smoke an effing joint...ha, the irony

what a tragedy :(this year has had some horrific deaths and I am deeply upset about Brittany Murphy's. she was just too young and beautiful and it is horrible these things happen so quick and unexpected. it really makes you (or at least ME) realize how short life is....RIP

surprisingly enough, her weird husband didn't sound too crazy in the people mag interview...however, 48 hrs after such a tragedy, I wouldn't be banging on to magazines, I'd want to be left the eff alone
