NKOTB and Backstreet Boys Announce 2011 Summer Tour — Excited or Enough Already?

New Kids on the Block and The Backstreet Boys announced plans for a 2011 Summer tour on Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show earlier today. They'll give fans a sneak peek at what's to come later this month when they perform together at the American Music Awards. Iconic groups NKOTB and Backstreet have both gone on tours during the past few years, but this is the first time they'll be teaming up to give fans double the boy band action. So tell us — are you excited or enough already?

lisa101: No, I don't think they are the only alternatives, don't be silly. I listen to plenty of other music (Kings of Leon, Broken Bells, Rihanna, Band of Horses etc.) I used Kesha and Justin Bieber as exemples of crappy music that is popular right now and get a lot of airplay while bands like BSB (who still make quality music btw) get none at all and aren't even recognized for what they do. My point is who are Popsugar or YOU for that matter to say what others is supposed to like and listen to music-wise. We all have different tastes and I just felt the 'enough already'-comment was really unnecessary. Because even if you don't like them there are still plenty of people who do and want to see them tour.

Frida, maybe if you think Justin Bieber and Kesha are the only music alternatives, and BSB are good you should think about vastly increasing your music knowlege, quickly...because none of those are any good.

'Enough already'?! What the hell kind of comment is that? If they want to go on tour they can and the fact is that a lot of fans are excited over this. We don't all like freaking Kesha and Justin Bieber you know even if crappy people like them are the only ones getting recognition these days. I'm a huge BSB fan and if I hadn't lived in Sweden I would've loved to see this. The only thing I don't like is that this might delay the new BSB album.
