Naomi Watts was a vision in white at the world premiere of Diana in London on Thursday evening. She walked the red carpet in a stunning Versace gown and looked every bit the regal beauty as she posed for photos with her costar Naveen Andrews and Chopard copresident Caroline Scheufele, whose brand's jewelry was featured throughout the film . The biopic will be released in the US in November and follows the last two years of Princess Diana's life, including the end of her marriage to Prince Charles, relationship with Pakistani Dr. Hasnat Khan, and untimely death in a 1997 car crash.
Naomi opened up about playing Diana in a recent interview, revealing that she turned down the iconic role twice in the past because she was "a little bit torn" about the way it would be received by the royal family, especially Diana's two sons, William and Harry. "I do care deeply about how the princes feel, of course," Naomi said, adding, "There was something very intriguing about this woman's life. It was extraordinary."
