Naomi Watts was out in her NYC neighborhood yesterday, strolling hand in hand with her two young sons. The actress toted a bag from Duane Reade as she pounded the pavement with Sasha and Kai Schreiber.

Naomi is back home after making a quick pre-Thanksgiving trip to London to premiere her latest film. Naomi stars opposite Ewan McGregor in The Impossible, and the upcoming movie — along with their individual performances — is already getting early Oscar-season buzz. The film tells the true story of a family vacationing in Thailand just before the 2004 tsunami struck and opens in the US on Dec. 21. Naomi will portray yet another real-life character in 2013, when her Princess Diana movie is expected to hit theaters. She spent much of the Summer in England shooting the drama, which chronicles the last two years of the beloved royal's life, and made a stunning physical transformation to take on the role.
