@jaan_black lol that's the kind of respond I expected. I regretted responding to your insult as soon as I posted it cause I do not want to fight at all. But my point, which I am sorry you didn't get, is that veganism is so NOT about what you want to stuff your face with. The end. Ps. When you get married, I am sure you will serve the food you hate to eat. And you will enjoy ppl calling you selfish or anal on the day that is not about them, for your choice of food/music/dress/anything really.

@jaan_black Selfish or anal? Come on...we are in 2012! It's like saying "a gay wedding - so inconsiderate to their Republican/Christian/conservative/etc. guests". Speaking of tolerance and equality - color, gender, sexual orientation, we are all equal, but not ethical orientation? If you think meat is murder (meaning you have real ethical, spiritual, not fad reasons), you would be a sell out to serve it at "the most important day of your life", the day you share yourself with the ones you love. I'm sure she didn't mean to "torture" her guests. What, can't stand ONE meal without meat?? Anyways, you could complain about any type of food served at a wedding if it wasn't in your taste, be it Mexican, Thai, Indian, or whatever (and in my experience, most ppl do complain about it no matter what). The whole wedding industry sells the "it's your (brides) day" and we even have reality shows proving what a bridezzila is, and it definitely isn't someone freaking vegan! Sorry but c'mon. It's a Jweish wedding, I wonder what non-Jewish guest though - "no consideration for me"?

was the dress short or long? and I hear she had an all Vegan menu with zero consideration for her non Vegan guests...personally, I would've offered a fish entree b/c I'm not that selfish or anal...congrats either way
