Natasha Richardson Passes Away

We are so sad to bring you the news that Natasha Richardson passed away earlier today at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York after suffering a traumatic head injury caused by a skiing accident. Her rep has released a statement saying, "Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time." The actress was just 45 years old, and our thoughts are with Liam, her boys, and the rest of her family and friends.

I know Zarah...it's so strange to have been through that and then to hear someone else go through it. I know it happens but I've never heard of or ran across anyone else that has happened to until now!

my deepest condolences to her family and friends. i cried like a baby last night because it brought back memories of a family friend's similar death only a year ago. head injuries are so dangerous & can bring death so suddenly. treasure every moment you have, every day tell your parent, your spouse, your child, even your best friend that you love them.

That is so sad!! How tragic. I am REALLY upset with TMZ for staking out the hospital and shoving cameras in the face of her family who were trying to make their way to see their daughter, wife, mother, sister for the very last time. How can people be so horrible???????

My heart just aches for this family. Our family had the exact same experience 4 years ago with my little sister who was 35. One day she's here alive, beautiful and vibrant, the next she had a freak accident and was in a comma on life support. Three days later after the doctor said she is brain dead and will not come back, we pulled the plug. Seven minutes later she was gone. It was so sureal (still is) and so painful. I don't care how it sounds I am going to write her family to give my support. IF they read my letter, I hope my experience can bring them some comfort. The pain never goes away but it gets easier.

A shame to see her go when we needed her to stay with us. My heart goes out to Liam, her sons and family. As a mother I couldn't imagine what my children would go through. May God Bless them with peace.
