U2 is gearing up to release its new album, No Line on the Horizon, on March 3 and here's the first single, "Get on Your Boots." It's a bit different than some of the band's classic material, but new isn't necessarily bad. U2 also released the tracklist and more information about the album. Listen to "Get on Your Boots" and tell us — love it or leave it?
I love U2 and this is ok, but it might take a few listens.
I love U2 but this one requires more than one listen.
It's alright. Not feeling it yet
I have been a U2 fan since I was 10 (1983), but I'm not feeling this. I hope the rest of the album is better.
Ugh. Crap song, probably a crap CD.
As a major U2 fan I can't say I love it even if I voted I did. I don't hate it, but it's not popping with me yet. I really like Bono's vocal though, and I like the Bob Dylan meets Beatles influences (or at least that's what my ear hears), but I must admit I was feeling that "uno dos tres catorce" from Vertigo more than I would have liked. I still can't wait for the rest of the LP because I know they won't disappoint.
I don't know either. I mean U2 is one of my favorite bands out there, but I need time for the song to sink in. Now, 'Beautiful Day' is a good song!
Reminds me of Bodysnatchers from Radiohead's In Rainbows. Sounds really jammy, too, less practiced.
Not bad, but not U2.
To me is sounds like queens of the stone age.
I really like it. It is different for them but it is a jammin tune!
Is this Bono or a woman? I thought it was a woman singing.
It lacks the punch of most of their singles, but my friends brother was sound engineer on this album so I must say it sounds awesome! (It just isn't a very good song)
Ok, I don't get why a lot of people are saying this is "different" for U2. Go listen to the Pop album and I assure you that you'll realize that this is very much like U2. That being said, "Pop U2" isn't really my favorite.
Ehhh its ok. I like U2 but I'm not feeling this song yet.
I don't understand why this song is disliked so much. Ok its not one of U2s best songs ever but that does not make it crap. It's different and unusual and after a few listens its quite catchy. If U2 had of done something boring and that wasnt really different they would also have got criticised
