Nicole, Joel, and Harlow Welcome Baby Sparrow!

Nicole Richie was in labor last night, and early this morning she gave birth to a son named Sparrow James Midnight Madden. In an announcement on her website, Nicole wrote that her son was born a healthy 7 lbs, 14 oz. Congrats to one of our favorite Summer couples and their growing healthy and happy family!

I know this guy named Hawk, so the name Sparrow doesn't shock me. It's good to be different, better than having John, Michael & Jason's running around. Go to a playground and call out one of those names, see how many kids turn around! Nicole & Joel; your children are beautiful. Isn't it amazing how both you guys feature show in one human being?

It's not said Sparrow like the bird, It's said (Sparrrr O ) rhymes with Harlow (Harrr lo) Nicole is great and her and Mr. mMdden are great together, stop insulting them and congratulate them haters!

I'm actually really liking the name. It's great- original, sounds cool, nice hidden meaning, yet not a name your kid would be embarrassed to be called.Congratz to the couple.

I don't think it's a stupid name, it's just unusual. There are "normal" names people dislike.. Sparrow is gorgeous as it goes with Harlow and suits their family "image" I guess you could call it. I also don't think that celebs name their kids something different in order to be "unique" people all over the world are naming their kids unusual names, it's pretty cool.

well, personally the name is ok. Anything else is better than Audio Science (shannyn sossamon) and Pilot Inspektor (Jason Lee). And not only celebrities name their kids weird names, it seems so because they're in the limelight.
