Nicole Kidman Owns The Red Carpet

Nicole Kidman premiered her new movie, Margot at the Wedding, at the New York film festival last night looking glamorous and regal in black and white. Fresh off his motorcycle accident, her husband Keith wasn't by her side, but Nicole has more than enough presence to work the red carpet all by herself. Nicole looks stunning in black, but there is something ethereal (and a little bit mannequin-y?) about the white — which do you like better?

Definitely the black dress. But is this story really news? Doesn't she "own" the red carpet at most events she attends? I also think her hair is too light for her skin. Kind of washes her out.

I like both dresses - when I first saw the white one I drooled over how beautiful it was and the details on it. I'd love to know which designer made the white dress? The black one is pure elegance for evening. Keith has been photographed with her on 3 separate occasions in NY including a big premiere again with her in another white dress -sleeveless with black belt and Keith in a pinstripe suit. I like her hair down better than up, it looks too severe pulled back.

I know I'm in the minority but I'm not liking her in either dress. I do agree that she has presence on the red carpet but she doesn't look real to me anymore and while the black dress is beautiful, she's all lopsided in it and that's distracting from the beauty of the dress. Her hair looks too severe like that. Guess I just can't be pleased when it comes to Nicole these days.
