Nicole Richie Confirmed Pregnant?!? WTF?!?

According to TMZ, the rumors are true: Nicole Richie is pregnant with Joel Madden's baby. We've been avoiding writing about this much since we're in total denial that it's at all possible (and still super duper hopefully it's not), but this is starting to sound like she may really be having a baby.

It really can't be a good idea -- especially since she is facing jail time. On that note though, some are saying that this is all a ploy for her to get out of it. InTouch is also reporting that she is planning to marry Joel this summer (pre-baby of course). Seriously, could this really all be true???

She'll still have to go to jail. Imagine what it's like for the Richie-Madden kid to be asked "Where were you born?"!!!! The kid will be like, "My mom had me while incarcerated". Poor little prison baby.

i remember that episode in 'simple life' when she had to take care of some kids and she did a good job, i think she'll a good mother but i hope she can carry the child in her arms cause she ain't really strong, i mean, she's very skinny...

Snarky ladies you are. Just given the circumstances it does look like a pregnancy and a soon to be wedding out of convinience. That should never be a reason to get knocked up. I hope her body can handle the pregnancy but honestly I can't imagine Nicole being that great of a mother. She'd have to really change and prove everyone wrong.

I rekon she'll be a good mother and (well if its true) Joel will eb a great dad too...it will make them really happy! I mean I love Hilary to death but I cant help but feel happy for them. I doubt she will beat jail time pregnant. If poop paris had to do time for drinking and driving, imagine DUI and driving on the wrong side of the highway... That is more serious. Do u think she will face the same judge?

This is sad...I like Nicole...but this is very selfish of her. There are so many woman out there that can't get pregnant...and she gets pregnant just to get out of going to jail.

to get out of jail! If that ploy works, ive lost all faith in the criminal justice system. I work in a jail, quite a few have come in pregnant, and detoxing, its not like they wont feed her there, especially with her "celebrity " status.argh!!

And I highly doubt she's been taking prenatal pills (she def needs folic acid and calcium - that baby is going to absorb all of it from her!). To have a healthy baby, you should not be overweight or underweight. It's a fact. You have to be healthy and I'm sorry, she just doesn't look healthy enough to be having a baby. I hope she has a good pregnancy and a healthy baby, but I don't know what she was thinking.
